It's not perfect, but Robert Altman's "Popeye" absolutely deserves to be in this conversation. Hell, the reason it's been maligned for so long is that people go into it expecting the Fleischer cartoons, but get the comic strip instead. Looking back, it's pretty ballsy that they went against expectations and not only gave a lot of screen time to the Oyl family, but also included characters like George Geezil, Ham Gravy, Rough House, etc. Well cocaine does make people ballsy. Fun fact the set became a themed park and it seems nice.

Not gonna lie, I still have not figured out why Catherine Zeta-Jones' character switches sides at the end. Well, Kristy Swanson's character asks her at one point "Why do you have to be so mean?!" Seems Catherine's character didn't really have an answer to that question so she decided to be less mean...? *shrug* Look, she clearly just wanted to bang Billy Zane. He was looking good in that purple spandex.
