If it's anything like the novelisation, I much prepared how Two Face died in that compared to the final movie. How did the novelization go? Similar to the set up at the end of the movie where everyone's in the rafters, only Robin calls out Two Face for everything he's done and says he should use the coin himself. Two Face actually agrees with him and flips the coin, throwing himself down into the water as a result. Just felt more satisfying than Batman pulling coins out of nowhere and making him fall to his death. |

If only we could get DC Animated to dig up the Batman Triumphant/Unchained/Whatever script and make an animated movie out of it! Wasnt Harley going to be Jokers daughter (played by Jenny McCarthy)? Thats one way to make Harley and Jokers relationship creepier. Make it about daddy issues. That's a result of a confusion of characters. There's a DC character named The Joker's Daughter. Who also went by The Harlequin. Who ended up being Dula Dent, Harvey Dent's daugher. To this day, the two characters similar names get confused. And I always heard it was Madonna that was supposed to play Harley/Joker's Daughter in the film. Which makes Lady Gaga plating her in The Joker sequel even funnier with how often those two gets compared. |

Wasnt Harley going to be Jokers daughter (played by Jenny McCarthy)? Thats one way to make Harley and Jokers relationship creepier. Make it about daddy issues. That's a result of a confusion of characters. There's a DC character named The Joker's Daughter. Who also went by The Harlequin. Who ended up being Dula Dent, Harvey Dent's daugher. To this day, the two characters similar names get confused. And I always heard it was Madonna that was supposed to play Harley/Joker's Daughter in the film. Which makes Lady Gaga plating her in The Joker sequel even funnier with how often those two gets compared. Man, Madonna would have contributed a banger to the soundtrack if it were made. The first four Batman movies had amazing albums through those ups and downs. |

Jack Nicholson was said to be interested in playing Joker in the nightmare sequences. Rumored casting was Howard Stern and Jenny McCarthy. Since its Wizard it could have been all bullshit, idle speculation or spitballing on set, or actual insider talk. But no, no confusion with Duela Dent. |

Occams razor. Harley was popular and they wanted to use her. Joker was dead plus any actress old enough to have been his love interest is too old for Hollywood. So simple, make her his daughter. |

Im confused here. They were willing to release a directors cut of a Batman movie from the mid 90s but wanted to cancel a Batgirl movie with Keaton in it that was already finished?

No, in 2020 the WB owned by AT&T were willing to release a Director's Cut of a Batman movie from the mid-'90s and were making a Batgirl movie with Michael Keaton in it. Discovery bought WB in 2022 and decided to cancel plans to release said Director's Cut and scrap the Batgirl movie. |
