I wonder if Raw is leaving Monday nights NFL destroys them 5 months a year now with the longer season & extended playoffs When ABC by really no choice decided to simulcast the games that means 3 channels are now showing Monday night football…that’s a no win situation for anybody.

I like to think after WWE saw how hard FOX censored The Rock's promo that they just went "We gotta get outta here" immediately lol
RAW potentially being on a new Network and a new night would be insane... and I agree with the sentiment, if WWE leaves Mondays, AEW NEEDS to swoop in.

USA giving up both Raw and NXT for SD is wild but a Monday without Raw is like....what timeline is this. But yea if Raw leaves Mondays I would absoloutley if I was TK you immediately set aside whatever this thing about your NFL team and whatever and you put Dynamite in that primetime slot immediately. Either that or Impact is gonna do it because that has been the sacred wrestling timeslot for so many...so I expect a bull rush to fill it if Raw leaves it. I envision Raw going for more money than Smackdown and Raw staying on Mondays. There sounds like a ton of interest in Raw. If it isn't broke, don't fix a proven money maker that has been on Mondays for decades.

Going to cable (USA) from broadcast (FOX) is a step down for WWE but if USA is offering the most money, then that’s the obvious move. WWE fans are insanely loyal. You could put content anywhere and they’d find it/watch it.

Raw is still the show with the highest name/brand value so for USA to specifically get Smackdown makes me think they're maybe expecting an even bigger offer from elsewhere for Raw.

Apparently Smackdown is going to jump to 3 hours a week?

Apparently Smackdown is going to jump to 3 hours a week? Now that it's off Network TV, it can. Honestly it being a deal for a three hour SmackDown would make it look a little more underwhelming. Producing 1.5x the content would make you think they'd at least match what Nick Khan expected if not exceed it.

Not nearly the same reach and prestige as the Big Four. Especially with MyNetwork since it's more of a loose collection of affiliate channels left over from the WB-UPN merger that created the CW.

Not to mention that there are still markets that don’t have a My Network TV affiliate and today some stations put My Network TV on one of their sub channels and not to mention there are stations like the Great 38 Tampa Bay, that put CW network and My Network TV on their main channel (they air My Network TV after they air the CW programs).

Apparently Smackdown is going to jump to 3 hours a week? Haven’t seen that anywhere but I won’t be the least bit surprised to see it happened. Everyone has been wowed by the price tag, but it’s not nearly as impressive if this was paid out all along with the intention of an additional third hour. I doubt that’ll be formally announced until next year.

It might be part of the reason shares dropped after the deal was announced (along with the fact, apparently, they promised a slightly better one because man, if there’s one thing that can get many shareholders in a tizzy is being a few hundred thousand off an already high number)?

Basically, either Hulu's going to let things expire and all of WWE's stuff will be on Peacock from now on (which'll probably happen, makes way more sense for how Disney's working things right now) or a short term renewal could happen to sort things out.

Wonder if at least Raw/nxt go to Peacock day after now? That already is the case for NXT. Level Up airs on Peacock but doesn't get archived for 2 weeks due to Hulu.
