Haven't watched any of this Pacers/Celtics series until the 2nd half tonight. It's so weird to see Indy who peaked HARD early this season and ended on a downward slope. Usually teams that do that and end up 8 games away from a title are playing way over their heads. Indy is terrible at both ends of the court; giving up open shots on D, passing up open shots on offense. Poor possessions, bad turnovers. They're the anti-Knicks. Instead of playing tough, fundamental basketball, they are skilled but just play lame iso ball and shoot. They remind me of the old Celtics with Toine and Walter McCarty. Maybe if we get hot, we'll win and we won't have to bother with defense and rebounding and set plays.

Also, if I can go off on a tangent real quick. I'd like to make a rule. You know how NBA teams are allowed a certain number of challenges a game? I think the NBA NEEDS to limit the number of times a team can do the finger in the air challenge signal. Is this dumb? Absolutely. Is this necessary? Absolutely. The amount of times I see a player do that after a nothing play or when he's absolutely, laughably, obviously wrong is ridiculous. It used to be only Draymond and Rasheed Wallace were obviously delusional human beings when it came to calls in the NBA. Now any player can, for instance, hack another player on the arm and enthusiastically turn towards their bench and plead their case without seeming unhinged, because everyone does it with such regularity.

Pacers have won in spite of Rick in this playoffs cause he has made some real stupid decisions Series is over He's probably still screaming about the no call. Jrue and Horford, both guys who have been in the league for well over a decade coming up huge when the Celtics needed them the most. That's stuff every team needs, you need those veterans who are willing to lead and get the rest of the team to calm down while struggling.

Boy these Pacers love turning the ball over late
I will curse whoever in the Bucks braintrust decided to trade Jrue Holiday and effectively gift him to the Celtics

From what I saw, dude on the Pacers just fell after Jrue stole the ball. Whether it was a loss of balance or a dive to draw a foul, not sure. Rick Carlisle is a whiny baby though and I really want the Celtics to finish the sweep now.

streamable.com/bengjqIt's so f***ing funny dude I'm sorry. This is a complete nightmare unfolding from the minute that Jrue Holiday looks at Nembhard and Rick Carlisle just lets it play out while he's got a timeout available.

Al Horford might go down as my most hated player ever, Sixers fan speaking
Legit f*** this dude for selling on our team after a big contract and then immediately balling out with Boston again, I hate these playoffs.

And with Jrue being a former 76er, that's gotta make it worse for you. They gave him up for Nerlens Noel, it's like the Celtics giving up on Chauncey Billups in his rookie season.

I owe Dallas an apology, I never thought Luka and Kyrie can work
Those trades they made helped the squad. If both men are on they are hard to beat
With that said, Boston in 6

I wonder what would have happened had the Nuggets beat the Wolves, but guess we will never know.
