Some of those Bad Boy-era Pistons hold on to grudges for long, long, looooooooooong periods of time. An asinine assessment from an all-time great to say the least. Jokic is Bird plus 4-5 inches, minus Bird's automatic midrange game. I wonder what Rodzilla would say about Laimbeer playing in today's NBA.

I feel like Sabonis and Dray would either be best friends or have THEY LIVE style fight in the entrance tunnel before every game

Worm was on that team when Isiah made that statement about Bird that caused some controversy, which was probably how the rest of the Pistons felt. They were very tight; hard to imagine just IT felt that way. They just hated everybody, especially the Bulls and Celtics. I can't imagine he carries any sort of fondness for Bird these days either. And it kinda reminds me of Gil on LeBron. If the guy that routinely whooped up on you ain't shit, what does that make you? Which is not to rail on Dennis. We get stirred up when older guys say the new age can't ball like they could. Here Dennis actually has a lot of respect for the game today and we're still in a stir. But yeah, if Pat Connaughton can play in the league, then a pretty safe top 10 player ever could.

The Hawks held Collins so long that they ended up trading him for next to nothing; an honest Bealing of the entire situation.

Trade market has been dragged down this off-season If you are going to make deals, best to do it now if you are the other team seeking a semi star. Portland has waited two years too late to trade Dame but they can still get a nice trade package for him

Pistons vs. Celtics will never die. Birds game & IQ in today's era would be terrifying.

Kinda reminds me of the Indiana situation, where everyone KNEW Turner/Capela was going to get dealt because they have a viable young back-up there.

I think Pacers got a decent return for Domantas. I'm reminded of Denver having both Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic and the two not getting along. Nuggets traded Nurkic and a 2017 first-rounder to Portland for just Mason Plumlee and a 2018 second-rounder. Of course, it worked out for the Nuggets in the long run, while Portland is still a mess.

No, I mean in who people expected to get dealt vs. who actually got dealt. They obviously got a great return for Sabonis.

Leveraging your future has not led to any championships. BK and Clips traded the house and got nothing to show for it. Last year market with players like Gobert and Murray costing you 6 and 4 first round picks respectively also tipped the market way too hard. A player like Dame is still going to cost you some collateral and ultimately Beal cost Suns everything they had but right now if you want a trade you can be aggressive while not trying give up the farm

Shoutouts to whichever evil ass dude keeps leaking proposed Deandre Ayton trades like right after reports about The Suns wanting to keep him come out. I think this is like the 3rd time already.

News:
- Vic Oladipo exercised his $10M PO. Considering he is expected to miss a big portion of next season that is no surprise and he most likely will be used as trade bait
- Also in Heat news, if they can't trade Lowry they will consider waive and stretch provision with him.
- Jonas Valanciunas, Kenyon Martin Jr and Norman Powell are being shopped around by their perspective teams
- Harrison Barnes looks like a lock to depart Kings for most likely the Pacers; while Kings look to be in on Kuzma. They have kicked the tires on Draymond and Middleton but expect both to go back to their respective teams

I would say Collins was in almost as many trade rumors as Capela, although it was close.
