So Sixers are essentially looking to construct a brand new team around Embiid... for what the fourth f***ing time?
Hopefully they can get something good back for Harden and Tobias and then construct from there with the free agents available... I'm trying to be optimistic here but it really feels like everything since Butler left has been an absolute undisputed failure.

Woj says Kyrie market outside of Dallas is limited and he most likely will re-sign with Dallas According to RealGM, Kyrie Irving is eligible to sign a contract worth $272 million over five years. He obviously won't get anywhere near that, but it'll be interesting to see how much money he's lit ablaze by being a (putting this lightly) team-killing dunce for the last half-decade. James Harden has picked up his option and has decided on staying with the 76ers ...uuuntil they find somewhere to trade him š Why any team would want anything to do with James Harden is beyond me. He's shown he's willing to get out of shape and quit on teams if he doesn't have his way and isn't totally catered to, and this is now his third trade request in less than 30 months. And on top of it all, he routinely puts on disappearing acts in the playoffs. You don't want him to join your playoff team because he vanishes when the lights are brightest, and you sure as hell don't want him on your young team because he'll take away shots from developing players and, even worse, get into their heads and tell them that his way is the right way to handle business in pro basketball.

What I expect is they try to sign him to 3 guarantee years, the 4th year is guaranteed if he is on the team by FA and the 5th year isn't guaranteed until the season starts He's going to get paid, just a matter of how much over how many years. Wouldn't rule out just a simple 3 year deal either. Cuban may just f*** around and give him the bread tho. He's sort of stuck

Harden to the Knicks, NO NO NO. I hope this is just them just browsing the situation.
I hope giving the Clippers are the other team interested in Harden, that maybe the Knicks are trying to find out what the 76ers would want from them, and try to get a 3 team trade with the Clippers and get Paul George.
Harden is on the Knicks is not a fit, can you imagine Harden and Julius on the floor at the same time, what a slow team that would be. And that is the only way I consider taken on Harden is to get rid of Julius.

Just a pure run it back situation. And Iām totally fine with extending Domas. We need that. But Harrison doesnāt move the needle. 18 million for a locker room presence that we shouldnāt need anymore.

I think they panicked and didn't want to end up with no one Kuz looks like he is chasing the biggest bag and Kings had a limit for him, Green and Middleton were options but going back to their teams as well. Kings got caught in a middle year of no real SF/PF options Harrison was a lock for Pacers it seemed but something must have changed

This deadline is gonna be mayhem now, essentially if the Sixers get the haul they want with Harden, then Harris' price goes down and they likely get him off the books to Indiana or Cleveland at a better price
Essentially it's all gonna depend on Harden... Dallas, Clippers, and Knicks all have very viable options to trade for him, but I'm curious if Portland tries to make it a three team deal to offload Dame or something... July 3rds gonna be crazy.

Assuming they got him for the cheap he fits their style of play I like it, if the price is right. Probably not the potential upside of Terrance Davis on any given night, but replaced with a more steady / consistent game. I remember he had some hype his rookie year before being worse last ā¦ maybe being back with Sabonis helps him return to form.

He lost a lot of burn due to Hield and being a older rookie worked against him. But he can play and heās tough so it should work well for him

Jeff Van Gundy let go by ESPN Jeff Van Gundy was openly critical of the superteam mentality, flopping, and stars getting preferential treatment from officials, yet he somehow survived the David Stern Era. That alone is impressive.
