Knicks are not actively trying to acquire Harden or Lillard They are more focused on trying to move Evan Fournier With those 2 2nd round picks from Indiana they got an assload of picks (including 7 for 2024 draft) so looks like they are waiting for shit to open up this season or wait until next off-season to try to to swipe a player Word is they been waiting to see what happens with Philly and Embiid If the Knicks are out Morey better get off his ass and get this Clippers deal done so the Sixers can construct a roster.

The league feels like Harden to Clips is a go, just a matter of working out comp
Dame is saying he only wants to go to Miami

Does Harden go back to SG if he's a clipper? Westbrook Harden Leonard George Zubac That's not a bad starting 5.

Most likely yeah when healthy that will be the line up I can see them going back to Kawhi in the sixth man role too as they let the pressure get to them and that big workload increase with no ramp up def led to his injury (tho he is just injury prone at this point) They would need to set up a bench tho

I love that they think that adding the biggest playoff choker in the league is going to help them when health has been their biggest issue. Harden is almost always healthy, but he just lost with the MVP in round 2 because he disappeared again. Kawhi has like a less than 50% chance of being healthy next playoffs, so it's hardly a big 3 at that point.

I just realized too if this happens, this is the 3rd time Harden and Westbrook are teammates. If they fail once again, they will go down in history probably as the worst star pairing of players ever relative to their winning success.

Teaming him and Brodie, two of the biggest playoff chokers in the modern era together is a recipe for success. Brodie has been humbled and knows his role. For some reason, teams still treat Harden like he's the 30 point, 15FT a night he was. Harden has had real good situations and failed. You can make an argument he would been a much better fit on PHX than Beal is since Harden court vision is top tier BUT depending on him day and night to be that guy is going to backfire on any team I am of the opinion Clippers, should just trade George and take this as a reset year while getting a younger skilled player but they got tickets to sell and trying to hold on to something that is well past them due to injured

I’m pretty sure he said we would beat them in the playoffs too. As far as I’m concerned the Kings *might* be better than both LA teams in the division and that’s only because of health.

Boston is in no rush to give Jaylen Brown a new contract. They can offer him the max but don't seem to want to
Looks like negotiations will go on and a deal will eventually get done but Windhorst said, they aren't just putting the max contract in front of him and telling him to sign it.

So Adam Silver hinted that there would be a new expansion team after the NBA's rights deals are finalized and like pls bring back the Vancouver Grizzlies just for me. We as a province deserve the right to be trash again.

I feel like the most obvious choices for the next couple expansion teams are:
Seattle Vegas
Then you get into the less obvious: Kansas City or St Louis, not both Mexico City Montreal San Juan, Puerto Rico Maybe a Nashville or Louisville, but not both
Then some long shots like Omaha (sports city with no major pro sports and the shitty huskers) or San Diego (i highly doubt there would be much local buy in despite having the money and population) or maybe something in Pennsylvania without the Philly stank.

San Diego almost certainly won't get a team but it's incredible how a city of that size only has one team in the top four American sports leagues. I know they're leaning into soccer which is great but they definitely can support more than they have.
