He is in possession of three physical championship belts, yes. However, one of those belts, the newest one, is meant to represent the other two, so he is still a champion of only two lineages (WWE circa 1963 and Universal circa 2016). No new lineage has been created in this process. I'll be tempted to sticky this comment at some point, because it's gonna keep being asked for some reason. |

I mean, during his "belt collector" run, Omega was carrying around both the TNA and Impact world titles, even though they are literally the same thing ![]() From 2020 to 2021, Moose was walking around as the unrecognised TNA Champion after Tessa was stripped of the Impact title. The TNA title then got recognised as a separate belt confusingly and Moose and Rich Swann had a unification match. So the TNA title was representing the second TNA title and the Impact title had the lineage of the first TNA title, so at the time it was the Unified Impact title which AEW never mentioned the Unified part. I like modern Impact but was so glad they ended their two title phase |

The only person in WWE to hold three distinct championships at the same time is still, somehow, The Miz. You would really think it would have happened more than once. |

As a plot device for the long game with Cody Rhodes. Keep the WWE Title out there and in people's minds, since that's the one Cody wants. You could do it without having it there, but it works better having it there as a prop. I like it because it still gives me a glimmer of hope that the WWE Title still exists. Akin to this. |
