What is the skill level of this competition? Let's call UFC a 10 and hobofights.com a 1. Does this competition come in as a 3 or closer to an 8? Jiujitsu tournaments vary but a NAGA tournament in Cincinnati is probably in the 2-3 range. Assuming that he was competing in his age bracket he likely was up against a lot of hobbyists with day jobs. It’s not like he won ADCC, Pans, Worlds, etc. Not to take anything away from him but it’s more or less a local comp. Still takes good skill and effort to win and he should be proud though. |
