They’re obviously setting up a bunch of storylines, so this weeks Dynamite wasn’t as good of a show as it’s usually been lately, I would give it a 7. OC vs AR Fox and Swerve vs Darby were good matches, the main event was decent if not a little messy at times. I completely agree with the sign that said they need to book women’s division better, Britt has had two matches where it’s just been sloppy, where’s Kris Statlander? Toni Storm? Also, personally not a big fan of having two Chris Jericho segments on a major wrestling show in 2023.

Bar the opening match I just couldn't get into much of this. After a streak of great shows this was probably a 5 at best.

I can't stress how much of a better watch Dynamite is now that they are not trying to cram the whole roster into it each week and are allowing things to breathe more.
- AR Fox video before his match - Clips of Gravity before his match - Backstage promos, interviews and vignettes that aren't just 20 seconds of people shouting at each other - Taped vignettes (Hook) - Stuff early in the show coming back and playing a part later in the show- AR Fox/Darby, Mox/OC - Video recaps for Blood and Guts, happenings on Collision, and a Rampage preview - The rundown for Rampage, Collision and next week's Dynamite didn't sound like Excalibur had a gun to his head being told 'get all that outta ya mouth in 30 seconds boy' These may all seem like small things but to me they make a huge difference.
The in ring action was by and large very good: Fox/OC and Darby/Swerve especially. Main event was a lot of fun too and got tonnes of time, which doesn't really happen on Dynamite outside of the huge ones.
Not digging the Jack Perry:Douchebag angle and the womens stuff was regrettably bad too (I'm so sick of the handling of that division man) but overall I loved the flow and presentation of this episode.
8/10

The women are being booked awfully, it’s not really even a debatable point in my opinion. Occasional good matches sure, but either no storylines or boring, nothing-happening storylines, and literally 1 match per show on Dynamite and Collision no matter what, with extremely rare in-ring segments. I think awful is extreme. They told a nice story in the Owen with Ruby trying to avenge last year while Willow finally overcame Athena and won the big one in the process. Skye Blue has gotten some shine lately. Now they're building up Britt and Shida for some title matches. It's not perfect but it's better than it has been at times. The problem is it's not nearly as good as it can be. When everything else right now is firing on all cylinders, there's zero excuse for the lack of tv time and storylines the women still get.

Gonna go with 7.
Lots of stories being continued/set up on this one.
OC vs. AR Fox was SO good. AR Fox won the crowd over with his talent, and then turned heel the same night. I dug it.
The HOOK short video was really cool.
Jack Perry getting booed for his voice, reminds me of how Dom Dom gets heat for his too. Neither light the world on fire on the mic, but both have the kind of voices that are easy to boo.
Taz thinks having 4 friends is too many.
Darby vs. Swerve was very good, but I expected this one. Great ending. I think Swerve should ditch The Embassy tho. He and fox can be The Moguls. Add a third, or a tag team.
Taya should have won that match. Britt needs to take some time off I think. "Book the Women's Division Better" not only made it to TV, but the camera made sure to linger on it. Interesting.
The main event should not have been the main event. But the last minute of the match was decent. It'll be interesting to see if BCC screw over OC out of the title after the stellar run he's been having. But if they f*** him over and give it to someone like Wheeler, then cool. I don't want Moxley to win it, he doesn't need the rub.
Overall, a fine show, with two matches that just didn't do it for me to end the show. And sometimes that's enough to kill a whole vibe for some. Another one of those times where TK laid out his show in the wrong order.
