Here are my NXT Thoughts:
I'm still mad that WWE didn't do a graphic for Pee Wee Herman.
Wow, what an attack on Tony D'Angelo & Channing Lorenzo by Gallus. And then Jacy Jayne attacks Lyra Valkyria before their match. What a chaotic way to kick off NXT.
Lyra Valkyria VS Jacy Jayne was a great match. I guess whatever Rhea Ripley said to her last week worked. I can see her being Tiffany Stratton's next challenger.
Interesting segment with Carmelo Hayes the Birthday Boy & Trick Williams. Wow, Trick's going on his own. I can't wait to see how he does.
Wow. Who's Tony D'Angelo going to call to help him & Stacks with Gallus?
OK segment with Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, & Dragon Lee & a surprise appearance by Rey Mysterio. Lee VS Dom will be a fun match.
Wow. Very good segment with Carmelo Hayes, Wes Lee, Noam Dar, & Oro Mensah. I guess we have our NXT main event since nothing has been announced yet.
Wow. Poor Thea Hail. She will be fine. I like Baron Corbin getting involved & then Andre Chase defending Thea. Hopefully, we won't see Gable Steveson any more so Corbin can move on to something else.
Eddy Thorpe VS Dijak was a decent hard-hitting match. It was short but they got a lot in. I'm interested in seeing who Tony D'Angelo was talking to.
OK segment with Dana Brooke & Kelani Jordan. Interested in seeing how Kelani does with an edge.
Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon VS Elektra Lopez & Lola Vice was pretty good. I have seen Elektra & Lola develop into a great team on Level Up. If there was only an NXT Women's Tag Titles for them to fight for.
Wow, I wasn't expecting Carmelo Hayes & Wes Lee VS Meta-Four now? That has NXT Main Event written all over it. Why are they going to make Andre Chase VS Baron Corbin the main event? Never mind, the 6-Man Tag will be the main event. Cool.
Fun promo by Tiffany Stratton.
Does Booker T watch any current TV? He had to reference The Green Hornet from 50 years ago.
Carmelo Hayes & Wes Lee VS Meta-Four was a fun match. I love what happened at the end as it's going to lead to Lee VS Hayes for the NXT Title.
Good Bron Breakker promo. Von Wagner VS Breakker in a 2nd Generation Feud as The Beverly Brothers & The Steiner Brothers had a decent feud back in the day. Interesting segment with Dominink Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, Axiom, & Mustafa Ali. I would love an Axiom VS Ali match.
Andre Chase VS Baron Corbin was a great match. @theahail_wwe is awesome going from the crazy hyper girl to a sad one. I'm interested in seeing what she does next.
Looking forward to NXT No Mercy. The Production guy walking in front of Vic Joseph & Booker T was hilarious.
Awesome video package on Roxanne Perez & her homecoming.
Who's the mystery partner? Does anyone know if Two Dimes is still in AEW? Maybe he got out of the water.
A nothing special segment except it set up TylerBate VS Noam Dar for next week which will be awesome.
At first, I thought I wouldn't like The Schism segment, but I did. I love Ikemen Jiro being there. The Creed Brothers "on the beach" was funny. Yes, they should be serious ass-kickers, but a little comedy doesn't hurt. Look at what it did for Kurt Angle.
Where is Cora Jade going? Is she leaving NXT?
Next week's NXT will be awesome.
Tony D'Angelo, Channing Lorenzo, & Santos Escobar VS Gallus was a fun 6-Man Tag Main Event. I didn't think about Escobar being D'Angelo & Stacks' partner since D'Angelo forced Escobar out of NXT. This was Escobar's 1st NXT since he lost to D'Angelo in a Street Fight on 8/16/22.

A really fun NXT. There really wasn't anything bad or horrible on the show. Everything had a purpose as we begin to start the build for NXT No Mercy.
