Mandy Rose vs. Fallon has to be one of the top 5 most hard hitting matches of all time. We need to make a list of our top 10 2.0 matches. Plenty I have to rewatch Not in my top 10, but I loved Mandy vs Ember Moon. It was a perfect 5 minute tv match that advanced the stories for both people. Too bad that wound up being Ember's last match. |

Here are my Smackdown Thoughts:
Good luck to Kevin Patrick on his debut Smackdown with Corey Graves & Michael Cole.
Asuka VS Charlotte Flair was a great match, but what was the point of it if it ended up in a No Contest thanks to Damage CTRL (BTW, great to see Dakota back). This now keeps Asuka & Flair at 6 wins each with 1 No Contest in their 13 1-on-1 Matches.
Good recap of Tribal Combat. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next in The Bloodline story.
I hate the IWC. Everyone's complaining that Michael Cole isn't sitting in the middle between Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick. Who the hell cares where everyone is sitting? Stop nitpicking every little crap & just watch the damn show.
Good promo on Austin Theory & interview by Santos Escobar. I hope Escobar is OK after that attack by Theory. I was looking forward to their match later.
Good promo on Karrion Kross.
Cool promo for Edge's 25th Anniversary next week.
AJ Styles VS Karrion Kross wasn't good at all. Please make this be the end of the feud & Styles can move on to a feud with a much better wrestler than Kross. He is horrible & one of Triple H's mistakes.
I wouldn't mind Rey Mysterio VS Austin Theory if Santos Escobar can't wrestle. Nice cameo by Kenny Dykstra.
Excellent segment with Edge & Sheamus. I love their personal stories. If it turns out that it will be Edge's final match in Toronto, he's going to go out with a banger. And they are right. They have wrestled in a Fatal 4-Way, a 6-Way Match, the Royal Rumbles, & several Tag Team Matches, but never 1-on-1.
I feel so sorry for LA Knight. He's going from an awesome promo segment with The Miz on Raw to wrestling against Top Dolla, who is horrible.
That's cool thatWWE is recognizing Hulk Hogan's 70th Birthday. I may not like him personally & he may not be the greatest wrestler of All-Time, but if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be a wrestling fan. So Happy Birthday BROTHER.
LA Knight VS Top Dolla should have been a 30 second squash. Top Dolla had too much offense. Good promo by Knight afterward (Best part of the segment).

Wow, I was not expecting Rey Mysterio to defeat Austin Theory. The match was reasonably short, but it was a still a good match. This ends Theory's Reign at 258 Days, which was the 3rd Longest Reign of All-Time below Dean Ambrose (5/19/13 - 5/5/14, 351 Days) & MVP's 1st Reign (5/20/07 - 4/27/08, 343 Days), with 11 Defenses, which is the Most Defenses since Damian Priest lost to Finn Balor in his 13th Defense. Mysterio is the 9th wrestler to win the US Title 3 times or more afteer Chris Benoit, John Cena, Kofi Kingston, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, Rusev, Sheamus, AJ Styles, & Booker T, the 2nd Hall of Famer to win the US Title after being inducted after Bret Hart, & Rey & Dominik Mysterio are the 1st Father & Son to both hold Singles Championships at the Same Time in WWE.
Excellent segment in the next Chapter of TheBloodline Story. Does Jimmy Uso's explanation satisfy you all of you impatient people that crapped on this a little too early? Roman Reigns was great too. But I wasn't expecting the ending. Jey's out of WWE? Where are they going to go with this.

Fallon Henley VS Izzi Dame was pretty good especially for Dame's 2nd Level Up Match. Big win for Henley.
Tavion Heights VS Joe Coffey was tremendous. It might have been Heights' best match on Level Up & showed how good of a wrestler Coffey is.

2) Dante Chen VS Damon Kemp
3) Fallon Henley VS Izzi Dame
Ends a fun Smackdown. It had everything. It had good matches, surprising results, excellent promos, but it also had bad matches. But I wasn't bored. The 2 hours flew by. The new team of Patrick, Graves, & Cole were good. The ending got me hooked for next week. Level Up had 3 solid matches.
