I wish we lived in a world where AEW agreed to have Jey on Dynamite to further his angle with WWE and in exchange, WWE allows Cody to show up at All In and cut a promo. Just air any Cody promo you have in the vault. Same shit. Dramatic line reading. Fake choked up. Name drop father. Pander to fans. No one will know the difference

Impact probably kicking themselves that Trinity is married to the other Uso or they might have had an outside chance of brokering that one off.

Similar things have happened. Christian showed up on TNA even though he was under contract with WWE.

Similar things have happened. Christian showed up on TNA even though he was under contract with WWE. Big difference between the two in terms of circumstance. TNA only had Christian appear once so that Ric Flair could appear at the 2012 Hall of Fame ceremony for the Induction of The Four Horsemen. Jey Uso is a key part of one of the hottest wrestling angles for years, and has become a WWE Main Eventer. For WWE in 2012, Christian was a dude that was missing large amounts of time due to injury and wasn't anywhere near the main event.
Jey Uso turning up in AEW would be far bigger than Christians appearance in 2012.

I wish both companies understood that neither is going away anytime soon so you can make tiny cooperative angles as long as they harm neither company and can be a win-win situation. Examples could be Jey working a Dynamite to sell his "quitting" WWE before he goes back, Regal being loaned for a ringside spot at All In. In return, E&C can go in the HoF together, ROH footage of Tyler Black and Kevin Steen can be used in WWE documentaries. Win-win, as long as it's only done a couple of times a year it would be grand and maybe shake some of the two fanbases out of their obnoxious tribalism. 100% this!!!
