Like it says in the title. Pick 5 people and they never enter the wrestling business in any way.
The 5 wrestlers you choose will, upon turning 18, win a lottery jackpot that means they and their respective families are financially secure for life and never enter the wrestling business.

Mike Von Erich Chris Von Erich Owen Hart Chris Benoit Eddie Guerrero
Now the last 3 may be controversial, but I think it's safe to say that if they were never in the wrestling business, they'd still be alive today (as would the Von Erichs, hopefully).

That JV Rich guy from Wrestlicious (wait...)
Seriously, I'll skip the one person who actually has been erased from history after dying in 2007.
Darren Drozdov is definitely one person I'd pick.
The thing is, some are trickier to keep out on just because of money. Like those in wrestling families, meaning pro wrestling is in their DNA. Like Owen Hart, or the Von Erich brothers. So maybe Fritz Von Erich would be a good pick to win the lottery, saving his whole family.
I'll pick my three more to be Chris Candido, Sunny & Reid Flair.

Erasing HHH would improve like a full decade of my enjoyment of wrestling
I’ll work on the other four later

For varieties sake I won't just pick the monsters or try to save people, this is just based on my entertainment and not breaking the timeline too much*.
Moolah -So American Women's wrestling would be in a much better place Del Rio Goldberg Brock Lesnar Del Rio again just to make sure
* Ie if you erase Hogan wrestling history would be completely different.

For good reasons as they both deserved so much more from life so neither getting involved in the wrestling buisness would have been the best for both. Miss Elizabeth Owen Hart
For personal dislike Hulk Hogan (I truly believe someone else would have been just as popular as he was given the mcmahon full on push, Macho Man, Ricky Steamboat, Bam Bam Bigelow, Bret Hart etc),wrestling would have been fine.) Triple H (Awful with the politics and selfish in so many ways).
For intrest Stone Cold steve austin (how would WWE be without him in those years?)

Part of me would be very interested to see what the world in general would look like if former ECW and WWF champion Vince McMahon had never gotten into the business ngl.
But other than him:
Goldberg Benoit Moolah Sable

Does it have to be full time wrestlers or just people in the business? Or do they qualify as long as they’ve had matches and weren’t just one-off deals like LT at Wrestlemania?

Anybody ever in the wrestling business in any way. If you want the guy from PCU to never do that guest host gig so “Summerfest” never becomes a thing, then have at it. 😂

I'm surprised no one mentioned Dynamite or Bradshaw and "maybe" Bruiser Brody (not just for the murder but for his horrible behavior).
I would say (in no particular order) Bradshaw (a bully in 1996 and a bully in 2016, no change and no remorse no matter how many times he was put in his place). Benoit (I think no matter what happens with Eddie's death or brain trauma, he will find a way to kill). Sunny (I don't think she started out bad but wrestling def. made it a lot easier, gave her the tools so to speak). Vince K (Unless we could get a way for him to channel and live the real life of his commentator character). And probably an unpopular opinion but Undertaker as he allowed the Bradshaw's, Holly's, Eddie's and Benoit's to have a voice and take action to make a toxic locker room in the 2000s. He had the strongest voice in the locker room, we read about it to this day, we hear people praising him but he never spoke against the evils. He allowed it to happen.
Given the conditions and wrestling or not, they would still be rich, I'm ok with the conditions. I feel like wrestling really gave those 5 a helping hand in having no conscience when it came to others.

Fabulous Moolah is at the top of my list. Women's wrestling in the USA and Canada would be in a far better state if she didn't set it back decades.

And before you ask....and by you I mean Nigel Sherrod, this doesn't even have to get into those stories. All you need is what even the people who deny those stories still agree on...her ruthlessness as a businesswoman.

Okay, this is my personal list and not something to save lives, etc.
1.) Vince McMahon. Yes, someone was going national and the territories were drying up regardless. As it was, the guy who won was the guy whose presentation I liked the least.
2.) Vince Russo. This one should explain itself.
3. Eric Bischoff. Yes, he was the catalyst for WCW’s boom, which I greatly enjoyed. He’s also the reason it so quickly fell apart with the ridiculous guaranteed contracts, creative control for Hogan, etc.
4.) John Cena. Great guy, love everything he’s done for Make a Wish, etc. But he’s a big, big reason I lost interest for the first time in my life, and it still hasn’t completely recovered.
5.) I’ll have to give this one some thought and come back when my phone isn’t about dead.
