Both shows feel like they are on an intense filler arc because Summerslam is over and the Rumble isn't till January... I wouldn't say Smackdown is filler, but the Fall is always the downest period. It's always a touch of "let's play around and see what sticks" because MNF will take away ratings anyway. See who can pass a litmus test for potential mania plans Both of my breaks from watching since 2011 (when I started watching again) were during the Fall. |
