Tiffany having nothing to do right now makes me sad. I know her mic skills aren't very good, but she has improved immensely in the ring.

I appreciate NXT taking the time to build up a robust division, but that seems to be coming at the expense of the current champion. All the main roster crossover isn’t helping either. |

Here are my NXT Thoughts:
I interrupt my regular NXT Thoughts for this Special Report. I want to comment on the story that Lacey Evans is leaving WWE as of Midnight tonight. I appreciate what Lacey Evans has done for our country & as a mother, & you can't deny that, but in WWE she was not good. She wasn't that good of a wrestler & even worse on the mic. So, it's no loss that she's gone so 2 of my least favorite women's wrestlers on the current WWE & NXT Roster are now gone. The only one left is Lash Legend. Also, I have to admit, Lacey had die-hard supporting fans, as every time I would tweet something bad about her, I would get a lot of people going after me.
Now, I return you to my regularly scheduled NXT Thoughts:
Tony D'Angelo & Channing Lorenzo VS The Dyad was excellent. The finish was different but it was obvious who's under the mask though they lost a Loser Leaves NXT Match. This was D'Angelo & Lorenzo's 1st NXT Tag Titles Defense & their Reign has lasted 16 Days, which is the 2nd Shortest Reign of All-Time after MSK's 2nd Reign (4/2/22-4/8/22, 6 Days).
A very cool Eddy Thorpe promo.
Interesting segment with Wes Lee & Carmelo Hayes.
Fun segment with Chase U.
Dana Brooke VS Blair Davenport was horrendous. I don't know what's wrong with Dana. She can have great matches on both NXT & Main Event and then be in a bad match the following week.
I can't wait for Myles Borne to have enough & leave Drew Gulak, Charlie Dempsey, & Damon Kemp, & finally get showcased on NXT TV as an awesome wrestler.
A very interesting segment with Carmelo Hayes & Dijak. Either way, Hayes VS Lee or Hayes VS Dijak will be a classic at Heatwave.
Trick Williams VS Drew Gulak was great but was way too short. Briggs & Jensen getting involved could be good down the line against Charlie Dempsey & Damon Kemp.
Wow. A Dabba Kato promo. He still sucks in the ring.
Even though Von Wagner VS Baron Corbin will be a fun match, this segment was brutal especially Wagner's line about the table.
Good promo by Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley. A Mixed Tag VS Dragon Lee & Lyra Valkyria will be fun.
Wow, Wes Lee VS Dijak is next. What's going to be the main event? A very different promo by Mustafa Ali. I'm interested in seeing where this goes. It's better than his last gimmick on the main roster.
Wes Lee VS Dijak was incredible. I love the story of the match even with Eddy Thorpe getting involved. Lee VS Carmelo Hayes will be an instant classic. Can Lee become the 3rd Triple Crown Champion in NXT History after Johnny Gargano & Adam Cole?
A fun segment with Dragon Lee & Lyra Valkyria.
A different segment to set up Tyler Bate VS Joe Coffey.
Good promo by Ilja Dragunov.
I guess the contract signing with Wes Lee & Carmelo Hayes will be the "main event" segment tonight.
Damn it. Tyler Bate VS Joe Coffey was heating up when Dabba-Kato stuck his stupid head into the match. There was no reason why we couldn't get a clean finish with Bate beating Coffey & then Dabba-Kato could have laid out Bate.
Interesting segment with Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker. I have a feeling that Breakker will interfere next week in Corbin's match with Von Wagner, so there's no point in Wagner VS Corbin.
Horrendous segment. Noam Dar & Nathan Frazer should just stay in the ring and wrestle. They shouldn't be doing these stupid talk shows. Also, there is Lash Legend. I hope she joins Ronda Rousey & Lacey Evans as the next woman to leave WWE. Then I will be happy.
Thea Hail VS Jacy Jayne was OK. The finish was a little silly, but I still want to see Hail snapping & going after Andre Chase. It shouldn't have been the final match of the show.
A very cool promo by the former Los Lotharios, Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo. I like the use of their grandfather to bring some Lucha history into their storyline. It was much better than last week's segment with us reading their Text Messages to each other.
A fun segment with Carmelo Hayes & Wes Lee. Damn, Wes, Melo has been spending the last 2 hours signing all of those autographs & you just threw them all of the ground. I love him taking the table to bring to ringside for the "Impromptu" Contract Signing. OK promo by Tiffany Stratton.
NXT Heatwave will be awesome. So many great matches scheduled.
What a tremendous closing segment. Besides the little screw up, Wes Lee gave a heartfelt promo. Carmelo Hayes was his usual great self with a promo. For a match that wasn't scheduled to take place until an hour ago, I am hyped for it.
Here are my NXT Match Rankings:
1) Wes Lee VS Dijak
2) Tony D'Angelo & Channing Lorenzo VS The Dyad
3) Trick Williams VS Drew Gulak
4) Thea Hail VS Jacy Jayne
5) Tyler Bate VS Joe Coffey

Overall, NXT was alright. 3 out of the 6 matches were excellent, 1 was OK, 1 was good until the finish, & 1 downright sucked. The promos were a mixed bag too. But I will forgive it as it set-up an awesome Heatwave next week.
Even though The New Day is on Celebrity Prank Wars, I'm turning it off & going to relax with Everybody Loves Raymond reruns. Good night.
