It is not to say he is out here like the wild west pulling the grip out every chance he gets but there is good chance he has done this before and it just never been reported. That is a question AEW should be asking him, how many times have you done this and even if you say it was only this once, you're going to anger management

I mean, it's easy to figure that latter part out: the guy didn't take a picture while the piece was being flashed, and only did once the car was ahead of him, hence getting the license plate.

Something likely happened, the question will be what the exact details were that led to things going down.

So he got his license plate, identified him in a lineup, and also happened to say he had a gun and it turns out he does just happen to have that gun but the guy never actually saw it? Not sure there’s “reasonable doubt” there. Maybe just enough for him to plead down to a lesser charge, though.

Also it's not like in the exact second the guy flashed a gun at him that he had his phone up in his hand, ready to take a picture, or even thought about that. It's a lot easier to, after ten seconds of processing that someone just flashed his gun at him, go "Shit I should snap his plate", pull out his phone, and take the picture from behind his car. That's not a standard of evidence that stands up to any logic at all.

As of now, the match between FTR and the Young Bucks is happening. FTR’s Wheeler and Dax Harwood are AEW’s tag team champions, and their showdown with the Bucks is one of the premier bouts at this Sunday’s pay-per-view, which is the single biggest show in company history.

Wheeler’s arraignment was this past Friday. The arrest was connected to a July 28 charge of aggravated assault with a firearm, where Wheeler was alleged to have flashed a gun at the victim. He was charged with a third-degree felony.

There is no certainty on whether Wheeler informed AEW CEO Tony Khan ahead of time about the arrest. Khan is conducting a media briefing session this afternoon, and the topic of FTR, and specifically Wheeler, is bound to arise. Considering the magnitude of Sunday’s show, it is likely in AEW’s best interests to have Wheeler perform at All In and then deal with consequences after the show.

FTR’s first two meetings against the Bucks were nothing short of spectacular. This one, unfortunately, will be clouded by Wheeler’s arrest. Yet, incredibly, that may lead to an even more compelling match.

There has been, rightfully so, considerable distraction surrounding the arrest and ensuing arrest report. Because of that, the wrestlers involved in the match will need to work extra hard to ensure people are invested in what happens between the ropes. That will be a mountain to climb, though a major advantage is that the crowd of over 80,000 people at Wembley will likely be very eager to embrace the match.

FTR and the Bucks also refuse to have subpar matches. Due to the circumstances of Wheeler’s arrest, they will step into the ring with even more to prove.
