Honestly I'd be shocked if FTR doesn't win. Between Tony's hardcore insistence to avoid changing any plans ever if at all possible, the constant 24/7 bending over backwards for Punk, and everyone involved probably wanting to do FTR / Legally Not Edge & Christian I'm guessing they'll just win and Tony will move right along like nothing happened. I cant possibly be alone in thinking Bucks vs E&C sounds way more interesting? I'm so conflicted, because that sounds awesome and E&C is my all time favorite act in pro wrestling history. But, also, current Christian is the best heel in modern wrestling, and I don't want him to stop hating on people with dad dads to try and cash in on a nostalgia run. |

It feels like AEW wants to keep Punk/FTR happy so they can be the main figures of an underperforming show (TK's intense fandom of Punk notwithstanding). I think that's something that won't have any consequences!

That report is nowhere on the internet, and the notion that Cash “DMed” Tony Khan proof reads like a riff. I’ll wait and see. If Cash is really fully exonerated then it is what it is. The optics of having Cash be the one to get the pin under the circumstances aren’t great either way, in my opinion. |
