I can see vince wanting punk back, I can see vince wanting to shake up the "boring" locker room (to him.) and thinking the chaos punk would bring would be what he wants/needs in the locker room with everyone being at each others throats until punk does something stupid against/towards vince. that said, vince has been on the receiving end of a wrestler attacking the booker/promoter/owner a couple of times and I'm not 100% sure vince would want anyone who would do that in the locker room now. Didn't Fox try to get WWE to hire Punk when he was on Backstage and they shot it down?

The 50 some people who voted yes might not be paying attention to what Punk's done the last two years lol I think it is mostly the anti-WWE crowd voting that way rather than people that want Punk back in WWE to watch his matches.

This is wrestling and at this point I’ve seen enough to never completely count anything out, but man I just don’t know why either side would bother.
WWE is doing huge business recently without Punk. They are doing more than just fine without him lol. Punk isn’t enough of a needle mover to justify bringing in especially when they are trying to make things as smooth as possible with the new ownership.
And for Punk, his whole thing is wanting to be the undisputed top main guy. I don’t know why he’d be interesting in going to be at best 4th highest on the totem pole after Roman, Seth and Cody.

This is a strong point. Much of Punk's frustration in his final WWE days was around not being a top guy and not getting the benefits that come with that while a lot of the allure of coming to AEW was that he was going to be slotted into a main event role (to the point of winning the world title twice). A banged up Punk in his mid 40s is not going to be the main priority for the company and even in a Goldberg role, there are going to be limitations on what they're willing to do with him.

Hell, he wouldn't be above Judgement Day. Their stuff, especially if Rhea and Dom are involved, do big numbers.

Does Punk piss off everyone, or just those he knows can't hurt him? Like, did he and Brock ever get into it?

Does Punk piss off everyone, or just those he knows can't hurt him? Like, did he and Brock ever get into it? Idk, but I just read (idk if true) he got into it with Regal during the matter’s AEW debut. Refused to shake his hand and called him a “HHH stooge.” Refused to shake his hand.

If we're talking about the chances that it actually happens? I don't see it because I don't see Punk being able to deal with just being a roleplayer behind guys he's 100% never taking priority over like Seth and Cody.

Does Punk piss off everyone, or just those he knows can't hurt him? Like, did he and Brock ever get into it? Seems like if there's the possibility that they might kick his ass, Punk plays nice with them. And if he and Brock got into it, Punk would have been in a full body cast. Also, I don't think we've ever heard of Brock getting into a fight. Jericho got in his face once, but no punches were thrown. And everything with Hennig I can chalk up to friends f***ing around. Brock seems to be one of those cats that's like "If I'm gonna fight, I'm getting paid for it. Ain't risking injury and costing myself money if I ain't gonna be paid." If we're talking about the chances that it actually happens? I don't see it because I don't see Punk being able to deal with just being a roleplayer behind guys he's 100% never taking priority over like Seth and Cody. Yeah, I can't see Punk being like Miz who gets plenty of tv time, but ultimately is there to look like a fool and put the other guy over. Or how Kofi is now, where he's a tag guy and won't get another World Title.

I don't even want to see him come back for the chaos factor of it. I already voted "f*** no," but the guy is just f***ing exhausting to me these days. Which is a sad thing to say as someone I used to consider one of my favorite wrestlers.
