That number is slowly going up
Don't have the graphic chart yet but apparently Hangman/Swerve saw a 10% Viewership increase in the key demo, and I'm really happy they did that.

Good number. Dynamite seems to have a solid enough base. It is really weird they have an inability to hold their audience. The Nick Wayne quarter died a terrible death.

They don't have an "inability to hold their audience", Hangman/Swerve was literally right before that, and saw a 10% key demo increase What probably killed that quarter, more than anything else, was the commercial breaks, one happening with five minutes left in the show. It was extremely odd placement, but RAW got it this week too

Yes Swerve/Hangman increased viewers, yet was down 12.6% the Q1 total viewer high and down 1.6% from the Q3 demo high. If two ad breaks is such a hindrance to a quarter than why was the only quarter to have two ad breaks on Rampge its high point?

The only issue was putting Nick Wayne and Darby in the main event for the looks of it, the whole AR Fox stuff really screwed both of them imo

Not a big ratings guy so have no idea how Darby and Nick's segments normally do but yeah the drop for the main event surely wouldn't have been helped by the ad break, I usually watch without commercials the next day but couldn't this week and it going to a break at that point in time really took me out of it. Could see why someone even slightly more casual would change the channel.

Isn't it more the segment before the low number that lost the viewers? Can't it be read that MJF and Joe dragging on forever lost 100k then more left when Hangman and Swerve had a chat but some of those came back for the end?

It’s no wonder people didn’t care enough about him to sit through 4 minutes of commercials. It doesn't make Nick Wayne look bad at all. Wayne looked great in the match yesterday, and the Fox thing is likely leading to a turn down the line and might make Darby look stupid for trusting Fox in the first place after what he did So now the commercial breaks ARE the reason despite the fact you replied to me and tried to waive that away. Interesting that now that it fits your narrative that the "booking sucks", it's totally the reason lol

Then why even bring up the hangman bump if there is no making sense of it all? Because it helps the argument! These threads never lead to any meaningful discussion anymore, we just take swipes at each other over Nielson numbers and it's exhausting.

Because ratings are incredibly fickle and looking for logic in why something might be lower constantly is a crapshoot when it could be like a dozen things that have nothing to do with the show itself? Then why even bring up the hangman bump if there is no making sense of it all? Some things can make more sense than others. Swerve and Hangman drawing a big demo increase shows that a target audience cares about both guys, which is important But not every decrease in viewership can be blamed on the wrestlers of booking. There are so many things that are happening on cable at any given time, and ad breaks can cause people to switch over and not come back, it's one of the most common things. Putting a commercial break with five minutes left in a show can usually be a disaster, and I would imagine it had more to do with this than people hating Nick Wayne or the booking We talk about how ratings can be unpredictable in here almost every thread and it's constantly pushed aside so people can dunk on the wrestler or the booking "Not working" when in the end that's simple not a true statement that can be said, especially with how they can fluctuate.

Fitting that so lowly and squandered an episode of this comes after a show called "All Out", for truly, that is what AEW is. All Out of ideas that could make the executioner stay his hand. All Out of chances to avoid a fate in the gallows. All Out of time to escape the certainty of a fate so grand in its destructive scale it will seem biblical in proportion. All Out of life.
