Same here. Dude hasn't been on his own long, but I am getting serious Jannetty vibes from Mr Jammmes Uso. Roman is the Tribal Chief, Solo is the Street Champion and just radiates Badass Aura, Jey has great face energy and his brother has an extra m for some reason. Right now for sure, but if they continue to make him a bumbling idiot, he's gonna be the next Neidhart of the team to Jey's Bret.
Blatant false advertising.

We are 4 weeks from the next PLE, and it's a B-Level show...We'll be lucky if they put it on there, and there's like a 85% chance they will shoehorn Charlotte into it. Yea the end of the match entirely pretty much set up a multi woman match. If anything this feels like another tease but this atleast feels more substantial and not something that will be brushed over just that untill every other woman is cleared out the way it will be getting interrupted all the time. And I will call it now...Asuka Vs IYO ends with basically them showing respect and begins IYO's actual babyface turn. Because that image of IYO and Asuka face to face with Dakota and Bayley framed between them really set that alarm off. The image of them face to face I think was to tease that Asuka was going to be IYO’s next challenger. Although it is interesting how throughout the match both KP and Cole were teasing that with her being champion, if IYO is now the leader of Damage Ctrl now instead of Bayley. Plus, that backstage segment where IYO cut off Bayley and sent out that challenge to Asuka. While Dakota was nodding and smiling in support of IYO, Bayley looked miffed.

The one constant in this entire thing has been and even commentary keeps harping on it is that IYO is held back by being associated with Bayley....and no surprise that every time IYO has to go at it alone she wins but teaming with Bayley every single time has resulted in a loss. And the way she interrupted Bayley and not only challenged Asuka but put her title on the line is very much in line with Io when she was NXT womens champion and it was very unique booking for a champion and Idk if there has been a champion in WWE since that has been booked like that but it makes Io a very different champion in that she is always lookin for her next fight instead of it coming to her.

The narrative has now shifted. Before commentary were questioning if IYO is being held back by Bayley, now it’s if IYO is the new leader of Damage Ctrl. IYO was the one shooting dirty looks at Bayley, now Bayley is the one side-eying IYO. That backstage segment summed it all up: IYO in the forefront calling out Asuka; Dakota by her side nodding and smiling in support of IYO; while Bayley looking miffed and tailing behind.

When IYO loses the title (I don't think it will be to Asuka) I definitely think it will be Bayley either intentionally or inadvertently costing her then a face IYO v heel Bayley feud probably with Dakota in the middle.

I would say this was the initial narrative they were going for but with KAIRI's return it really changes things now for IYO in particular. IMO atleast I think IYO is going to lose the title in a protective way like a multi person match that then transitions her to feuding with KAIRI and I said this in another thread that KAIRI is gonna be the key to both turning IYO babyface and ending Dmg Cntrl because of KAIRI's history with Bayley and how that ended the first time around. And it is such an easy story and it helps drastically KAIRI is such an unbelievably easy babyface to root for...just get her to cry because she is fighting to get her best friend for life back and the crowd will eat it all up.

IYO is definitely dropping the title to Charlotte....the question is when? I wonder if the reason they pulled back on turning IYO was a combination of Dakota coming back on the road again and the lack of any Top Heels on Smackdown. You only got Asuka(who’s more of a Tweener it seems) then there’s Damage Ctrl(with one member injured and the other a glorified jobber) then there’s Alba/Isla who we need to file a missing persons report on.
