A bit cliché I know, but I would to love to see the people behind the John Wick series do an adaptation of Golgo 13.

I think live action shows should be being remade as anime. A LOST Anime would unironically slap.

An Attack on Titan live action series would be smashing but I think the story may be HBO’s forte rather than Netflix’s.

Demon Slayer would be an interesting, if gory, one to go for, but it’d also be very CGI heavy

It obviously wouldn’t be kid appropriate at *all*, but a live action Mad Bull 34 would be some wicked ass fun.

I'd be curious to see this done with a bigger budget.

Azumanga Daioh.
I don’t actually care about the live action part, I just want more Azumanga Daioh.

City Hunter. It just needs clever, funny writing and good action direction. A charismatic private eye and his cute spunky Tomboy of a partner is a money combo. And it needs to keep its soundtrack.

Anime is such a unique medium by itself that I really don't see the appeal of live action versions.
Would Evangelion or Berserk be better in in live action? Personally, I don't think so.

Anime is such a unique medium by itself that I really don't see the appeal of live action versions. Would Evangelion or Berserk be better in in live action? Personally, I don't think so. The Golden Age arc of Berserk could possibly work as a Game of Thrones-y thing. But that would mean having to go through that arc for a 4th time (after the manga, 1997 anime and the GA movie trilogy). Plus, I don't think, with anything less than a massive budget, you could truly do justice to the horrors of the Eclipse in live-action, and I don't want it watered down either. It might seem excessive to some, but to me, it's meant to shock, it's meant to horrify the viewer/reader. It's uncompromising. I don't think anyone would be prepared to truly go there, and I don't want to see a bunch of people whining about it if they did. I've seen that a few times where people have picked up Berserk after Kentaro Miura's passing and it bugs me. Evangelion, maybe. Hideaki Anno is a huge tokusatsu fan -he's done "shin" movies of three big toku franchises at this point, and there's been Ultraman references in Evangelion to begin with. I like Shin Ultraman, and Shin Godzilla. I think it's doable. I totally get not seeing the appeal of live-action adaptations of anime, and I've never quite seen the appeal of the opposite either. I still prefer the rubber suit monsters of Denkou Choujin Gridman over the anime SSSS.GRIDMAN because I enjoy the tokusatsu medium.

Have you seen the Jackie Chan City Hinter movie? It's got that scene of Jackie as Chun Li from the Street Fighter game.

And knowing how it goes, they'd find a way of making a live-action EVA part of the same timeline and you'd need a whole index of prior Evas to understand it.

Jackie is pretty good but Ryo Saeba is Johnny Bravo meets The Equalizer. Ironically, if he was 30 years younger, Bruce Campbell would be perfect for the role.

The classic series, "None." Careful with a joke like that, there might actually be a series in Japan called "None".
