He was never going to be big with that name.
When they never let him change it, it was clear he was nothing more than Pat's favourite who Vince never quite had any faith in.

That time he introduced himself and offered our his hand for a handshake.

I reached a point where I broadly hated Dolph ad an onscreen character and enjoyed seeing him suffer. I still do
But for a few months in 2016, Miz made me actually root for Dolph. It was an incredible angle

1. Del Rio cash in 2. Survivor series Vs The Authority 3. Him Vs kofi because of all the weeks of him and fake Jamaican kofi duking it out over the years. Felt like a very natural feud imo

Oh I totally forgot the double turn with Del Rio. That was awesome.

No joke, my favourite Ziggler thing is him making a big deal on giving up the US belt, then coming back to the Rumble to lose like an idiot. I genuinely don't understand the point of any of it, which just makes it so funny.

Blowing the roof off with Bad News Barrett in a random Raw IC title match. “We’re hot, brother!”

I loved Dolph and will miss him (even though I don’t remember when I last saw him)
His cash in on ADR and defeating the Authority will always be my favorite moments.
Oh, and any time he would Mr Perfect bump all over the place was great too.

Its the obivous answser, but his Survivor Series win against the authority is one of the top 5 most invested in a match that i've been.
That was the last time I ever truly cared about WWE booking. I tuned in because of the Sting rumors.
And... yeah, Sting coming in was a moment to be sure, but someone somewhere made a great decision to make sure Dolph shined like the shiniest "conquering but vulnerable" white meat babyface since Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson.
No one performance can or should make you a champion or a top guy overnight, but the fact that no one saw fit to strike while the iron was hot on ol' Ziggy just to see if there was something there or not was one of those moments where I realized that the WWE could not give a f*** less about its booking anymore.

His last match in WWE was a double countout with JD McDonagh.

His last match in WWE was a double countout with JD McDonagh. It's hard to imagine a worse final match to go out on.

"I hear there's a monster on the loose and it's a real Dolph Ziggler!"
One of the many great things we've received thanks to Dolph.
