Sorry once again my Weekly Column isn't done. This weekend I was busy working on my Fastlane Records. Today I was off of work so I thought I would have time to finish up everything, but I don't know what happened & I couldn't get things done. So, it will be a 4 week column next week.
Here are my Raw Thoughts & Facts & Stats.
Excellent promo by Seth Rollins. I love Drew McIntyre being the next to challenge Rollins for the World Title & doing it at Crown Jewel. It will be their 10th 1-on-1 Match against each other & 1st since MITB in 2020. I love Drew stopping Damian Priest from cashing in his MITB.
Strange. After they came back from break for the 2nd half of The Viking Rules Match, the French commentary was heard but they were showing Wade Barrett & Michael Cole.
Kofi Kingston VS Ivar was fun. FACT: This was the 1st 1-on-1 Viking Rules Match, Kofi Kingston's 2nd Viking Rules Match & 1st since The New Day lost to The Viking Raiders on Smackdown on 8/26/22, giving him a Viking Rules Match Record of 0-2-0 & Ivar's 3rd Viking Rules Match & 1st since The Viking Raiders defeated The Alpha Academy on Raw on 7/17, giving him a Viking Rules Match Record of 3-0-0. This was the 1st time in his Career that Ivar wrestled 2 1-on-1 Matches in consecutive weeks on Raw. This was a re-match of Raw on 9/18 which was won by Kingston, so they each won 1 match. That was Ivar's only 2nd win in 1-on-1 Matches. He defeated AJ Styles on Raw on 7/6/21 & Jey Uso by DQ on Smackdown on 2/11/22. It was only his 8th Singles Match in WWE & NXT.
I love Ricochet attacking Shinsuke Nakamura before Nakamura could even say anything.
Damn, Damian Priest is pissed. At least Rhea Ripley diffused the situation. Drew McIntyre VS JD McDonagh could be great.
Raquel Rodriguez VS Nia Jax was horrible. I thought we would see Nia's hole as her tights were ripped. Thank you Rhea Ripley & Shayna Baszler for interfering. I didn't think I would be happy to have a No Contest. And no Nia Jax match should ever go 2 segments. FACT: I have no facts for this match.
Good segment with Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins.
Good promo by Shayna Baszler. I love Akira Tozawa's cameo again this week.
Excellent segment with Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso, Michael Cole, & the returning Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn. I hope Adam Pearce makes the Tag Team Match Official.

Damn, Shinsuke Nakamura took out Ricochet before the Triple Threat Match.
Excellent Triple Threat with Chad Gable VS Bronson Reed VS Ricochet. Reed VS GUNTHER will be awesome. That's the match that I wanted since we have seen both Gable & Ricochet VS GUNTHER. FACT: Chad Gable VS Ricochet VS Bronson Reed was the 1st Triple Threat Match on Raw since 5/8, Gable's 2nd Singles Triple Threat Match in his Career & 1st since he lost to Ciampa along with Dolph Ziggler on Raw on 8/1/22 giving him a Triple Threat Match Record of 0-2-0, Reed's 3rd Triple Threat Match in his Career & 1st since he lost to Austin Theory along with Bobby Lashley at Backlash on 5/6, giving him a Triple Threat Match Record of 2-1-0. Ricochet's 4th Singles Triple Threat Match in his Career & 1st since he defeated Angel & Humberto on Smackdown on 4/1/22, giving him a Triple Threat Record of 3-2-0.
Good promo by Becky Lynch. Wow, Xia Li coming out of Main Event exile to challenge Becky next.
Drew McIntyre VS JD McDonagh was a great match. I like Dominik Mysterio trying to help JD but it didn't work.
FACT: This was the 1st time in his Career that Drew McIntyre wrestled 5 weeks in a row on Raw. This was the 1st time that JD MCDonagh wrestled someone other than Sami Zayn on Raw since he wrestled Dolph Ziggler to a No Contest on 5/29. It was the 1st match between 2 people with Mc in their names since Pat McAfee VS Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38 on 4/3/22, 1st on Raw since Vince VS Shane McMahon on 10/29/01, & the 1st time in their Careers that McIntyre & McDonagh wrestled against someone else with Mc in the names. It was the 1st match between someone from Scotland & Ireland since McIntyre VS Finn Balor on Raw on 2/11/19.
Interesting conversation between Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest.
Good interview with Wade Barrett & DIY and attack by Imperium. But we have seen DIY on Raw before. They defeated The Revival on 2/18/19.
Good video package on Tegan Nox, followed by a good promo & nice words from Natalya.
Good promo by Ricochet. Ricochet VS Shinsuke Nakamura next week in a Falls Count Anywhere Match will be good. But did you notice Drew McIntyre & Rhea Ripley talking to each other backstage?
So, this week is the Season Premiere of Smackdown & next week will be the Season Premiere of Raw. Meanwhile neither show goes into reruns.
Becky Lynch VS Tegan Nox was incredible. Tegan was made tonight. FACT: This was Becky Lynch's 3rd Women's Championship Defense, so if she would have lost, she would have been the 1st since Roxanne Perez who lost to Indi Hartwell in a Ladder Match to lose in her 3rd Defense. As of Raw, her Women's Championship Reign has lasted 27 Days, which is the Shortest Reign of All-Time. If Tegan Nox would have won, she would have been the 8th 1st-time Champion in a row & the 1st Welsh Champion in WWE History, Male or Female. This was the 1st ever match between someone from Ireland & Wales for a Women's Championship in WWE History.
Wow. Good to see Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell as Adam Pearce gave the injury report on Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano.
Wow. Rhea Ripley VS Shayna Baszler next week. That should be good.
Natalya & Tegan Nox VS Chelsea Green & Piper Niven could be a good match. It was good to see Kayden Carter & Katana Chance on Raw instead of being on Main Event. Next week's Season Premiere will be awesome.

Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso VS Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn was an amazing match. I thought we were going to get a Double Count Out, but I'm glad we didn't. I had a feeling that we would get this match but didn't think it would be this soon as Rhodes & Uso's 1st Title Defense. FACT: This was Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso's 1st Defense so if they lose, they will be 1st since The Alpha Academy who lost to RK-Bro on Raw on 3/7/22 & the 1st since The Revival who lost to the New Day on Smackdown on 11/8/19 to lose in their 1st Tag Team Title Defenses. As of Raw, their Raw Tag Team Championship Reign has lasted 2 Days, which is the 3rd Shortest Reign of All-Time ahead of John Cena & The Miz (2/21/11 - 2/21/11, Same Night), Nicholas & Braun Strowman (4/8/18 - 4/9/18), Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater's 2nd Reign (2/20/21-2/21/11), & John Cena & David Otunga (10/24/10 - 10/25/10), 1 Day) & was the Shortest Smackdown Tag Team Championship Reign below The New Day's 7th Reign (10/9/20 -10/12/20). Crown Jewel is already sounding like another awesome PPV with just Rollins VS McIntyre announced. I don't care where it's taking place.
