It just occurred to me that with USA Network having both Raw and Smackdown, there wont be opposing Network execs to appease, meaning the top stars could ultimately be on both show every week, just like it was when Smackdown first launched.
While they would likely keep some roster separation for touring, could the days of their actually being any semblance of a 'brand split' be coming to an end?

There’s barely one now. I’m surprised there isn’t more discourse about it.

If they did, man that second world title that Seth has would be the most useless title in the company’s history lol

If they did well that discourse about the Raw women getting next to no chances while Rhea trots around doing nothing with the title would kick up even more preverbial sand because even less women would be getting chances overall.
Oh and Seths title would be just a complete meaningless thing he lugs around untill Roman just chooses to eat it like Galactus eats a planet.

I like the brand split because then you don’t have the same 5 people in the same matches, but then I hate the brand split because you have the same 5 people in the same matches.

Is there a deal in place for Raw to stay with USA/NBCU? Can't find anything about that.

I think they keep the split in place until they know for sure Raw's new home for the future. But more of a soft split than the more hardline one when Smackdown first got to Fox.

I'm sure they will end it. And then we can finally move back into the weekly 'should WWE bring back the brand split?' threads instead of the weekly 'should WWE get rid of the brand split?' threads.

Is there a deal in place for Raw to stay with USA/NBCU? Can't find anything about that. No. The idea is that since they went for Smackdown, they're going to let go of Raw and NXT like they did five years ago when they gave up Smackdown so they could bid more for Raw. The only other cable option that isn't a major step down, though, is FX. Disney is said to be interested, so FX is a possibility.

I doubt it. The way they’re doing it the past year to year and a half is best, imo. They keep it split for the most part, but will still have the occasional cross over for storyline purposes to keep some storylines flowing on both shows and some over talent on both shows.

Basically “Ugh, not this shit again”.

I utterly loathe the brand split. WWE is decently a solid product all around right now, and I'm watching more of it than I have in decades. My criticisms are largely just petty grievances with the visual style and presentation. But, I sincerely detest the brand split. Largely because of the way it has diluted the value of WWE's championships over the years. Just my opinion, but when a wrestling promotion has 3 "world champions," it really has none.
If WWE actually is inclined to end the split, then I hope it culminates in a title unification match. Even better, Cody being the one to win it and become the new "Undisputed Champion" would completely rectify his WrestleMania loss.

I feel like the titles now mean more than they have in maybe 25 years, due to HHH’s booking.

I feel like the titles now mean more than they have in maybe 25 years, due to HHH’s booking. It's a subjective opinion for sure, but I personally disagree. I personally think Roman means more than any WWE "champion" has in essentially the company's entire history (not counting Bruno Sammartino because that's before my time), and genuinely has this untouchable final boss feel about him that makes all of his matches feel like an event. But the belts themselves are just props. Rollins is having a good reign, he just feels like a good IC Title reign in the 80s or 90s to me. And GUNTHER is having a great reign, but it feels like a TV title reign or something. It's just personal preference. I think there should be a single "world title" in a wrestling company that people are fighting for. I'm probably just being a curmudgeon but I've never liked the concept of WWE having more than one "world title" at any point over the last 2+ decades.
