Great numbers across the board last night

Good job with the demo, keeping neck and neck but yeah, that viewership gap was about what was to be expected and the distance that should be considering it was NXT’s night. If anything, NXT should have a bit higher of viewership considering how stacked it was but still, to be expected.

Surprised at how big the gap was in viewership. But figured the demo would be close (assumed Dynamite had a good shot at winning the demo) because NXT’s audience tends to be older.

The Stand Up For WWE crowd across social media is treating this as if AEW is gonna shut down tomorrow because of this. It's absolutely embarrassing to witness.

yeah that sounds about right, bit sad the miracle didn't happen and AEW won though. the memes with luchasaurus standing tall over cody, asuka, the undertaker, etc. would've been really funny

By comparison, the head to head Tuesday night battle last October 2022 Dynamite won with 752K/0.26 to NXT’s 676,000 and 0.18.

AEW maintaining the same demo they had last year when they went head to head on their off night with NXT when WWE is hotter + NXT loaded up more + AEW is by all measures a colder business product is a win in my book. People will clown on TK but it could have been a massacre in 18-49 if he didn't try to put on a show like that.

Was expecting a bit closer than that, to be honest, but NXT ending up on top was what I expected.

I imagine the 45 minutes commercial free, the 15 minute overrun and the way they built the card all helped with the demo maintaining.

Did NXt stack their card/roster as heavy in that last head to head? I can't remember anything as absurd as last night but might be wrong.

When the dust at long last settles, will there be any irony for the wretched circus of All Elite Wrestling more fitting than its praise of a real dinosaur in its main event? A race of extinct beings long buried under the earth, fozziled and liquified and reclaimed of any last nutrient by the ground that consumed them. AEW shares much with the dinosaurs, and it is fitting to put Luchasaurs on its show. They should make him their mascot perhaps; an extinct relic of times long past. That is all AEW shal lsoon be. The fossilized husk of failed potential and never-was buffoonery shall be unearthed one day by archaeologists who will know what they hold in their hands is not worth so much as a glimpse to understand. Its remains shall not be in a museum, but buried underneath shit. Is there any soul alive who can believe otherwise? You have then a fool and nothing more. The cataclysm shall come, and it will not take so grand a meteor as the one that killed the dinosaurs to eradicate AEW and all the vain hope put into it.

Basically what I expected Decent demo but less overall numbers. Jimmy Van mentioned a friend he had in TV predicted AEW losing 20% of the audience for switching nights which more or less is what it ended

So we had a bunch of promotion, some real good matches, and about a million and a half viewers across the two shows.
Nothing but a win here for pro wrestling.

I'm also surprised at the gap in overall viewership as i thought AEW had a chance of winning last night. Well deserved victory for NXT. I enjoyed NXT more than Dynamite outside of the main events. I thought Dynamite had the better main event. Surprised at the amount of people who watched wrestling last night with other stuff going on TV.
