I mean, I get it, it's not "my" show anymore and they're not formatting it for nostalgic adults.
So it sounds like it'll be as if the show was only the street segments. Well they were toning down the shorts in between for a long time anyway. Besides Crumby Pictures, I didn't get into most of the new ones.
What would be ironic is the kids who grew up with Elmo's World complaining that it's going to be no more.

I'm interested to see this. I hope this means the show is going to be returning to an hour. I never liked the shorter version of the show we have now- I think it's too condensed.

If it's just street scenes, then does this mean characters who rarely appear on the street like Bert, Ernie, and Grover are essentially going to be retired? I cant see Sesame Street without those characters.

Trying to get their attention and keep it focused for longer than 2 minutes. Kids are going to follow trends. It's better to use those trends to create healthy environments with what they're going to be exposed to later. |

From what others have been saying, this feels like something they’ve been slowly doing for the past 20 years, especially the narrative stuff, and this feels like them just confirming it officially rather than doing anything dramatic. Especially now they’ll be away from a corporate partner that was trying to get spin offs done, cancelled and then written off so it never existed.

From what others have been saying, this feels like something they’ve been slowly doing for the past 20 years, especially the narrative stuff, and this feels like them just confirming it officially rather than doing anything dramatic. Especially now they’ll be away from a corporate partner that was trying to get spin offs done, cancelled and then written off so it never existed. they "reimagine" the show ever like 5 years or so... cause kids grow up. |
