Can MLB just give the Yankees the win here, this is ridiculous.

Scoreless going into the eighth and came back for the W. Jonah Heim home run saves the day. Good stuff.

Am I nuts or shouldn't the Blue Jays be way better than they are?
And my dreams of a World Series get tempered whenever I see Craig Kimbrel on the mound in the ninth.

Can he be salvaged at this point? Lol no. He was nasty at one point though. Something about being a pitcher developed by Toronto is just destined for the opposite of greatness. Manoah, Pearson, Sanchez, Reid-Foley.

Blue Jays window closed as fast as it opened They had a young squad with key players not hitting the 6 year mark and money to spend and was not able to take advantage of it. Vlad Jr hasn't been the superstar they expected and trades like Berrios were he was supposed to be the Ace hasn't worked out to form. Add in them not being able to land big key free agents they have gone after

Add in them not being able to land big key free agents they have gone after Yeah, what really hurt them is that Vlad never became the superstar he was supposed to be, and Bichette is closer to a very good player than an elite player. Their farm system is not good and all of their good players are only locked up from 2024-26. I think their run as a playoff team is over. Any team that is paying the luxury tax and starting Kiermaier, IKF, and Biggio failed somewhere. They would be smart to retool this summer and trade some pieces.

I would not be surprised to see them selling as soon as this year. I can see them trading Bichette and keeping Vlad as a piece to hopefully retool around since he is still only 25 and the sentimental favorite. Of course that could change if he is trying to break the bank or someone makes a offer they can't refuse. The O's has taken the window the Blue Jays had open with their own young core of players and with new owners, they will try to go the ATL route of long terms deals with financial security

Corey Seager three run homer gives the team another big comeback win. He must have heard all that slump talk.

Boy what was at one point a 13 point lead became…interesting by the middle of the game.
It’s a good thing the offense was on fire because the bullpen had a rough one!

UGH!! I hate Baseball sometimes, Counsell has nobody in the pen he trusts to get 6 outs, so Imanaga out to pitch the 8th, Nico with a error, and then a 2 run home run, Cubs currently down 2 - 1 with Imanaga taking the loss right now. His ERA now is 1.08 after 7 starts this season.
*edit*
Its not a loss!!! Cubs are undefeated so far with Imanaga starts!! Michael Busch with a home run in the bottom of the 9th to walk it off!! Also, Jim Deshaies needs to hurry back to the broadcast booth! Joe Girardi calling games the last few nights has been awful! Highlight tonight being "Oh wow, a pitch out, I have not seen anybody do a pitch out in about 10 years now! Its a lost art form of the game!"

He’s been scuffling since his homer streak. Hopefully this gets him going.

Mets/Cards postponed today given the forecast of "tennis ball-sized hail", tornados in the region, and Busch Stadium asking fans to seek shelter in the concourse and restrooms.
Unfortunately, the one mutual off day both teams have would be after a Mets series in Cleveland, which would create a scenario where the Mets would play 27 days in a row. Don't think that's happening.
Ah well, they got to avoid Sonny Gray, at least?

Yankees are one game away from sweeping the season series with Houston, and that's pretty funny.
