I don't think they could get over as faces. Zoey is way too bland, and Shayna has pretty much always been a black hole of charisma. I also feel like there are a not insignificant number of fans who want to cheer Dakota, Kairi, and IYO at this point as well.

With Triple H's love of long-term story-telling, I wonder if everything that has been going on with Damage Ctrl the past few months has been by design. I wonder if the story seems to be that last year was about Damage Ctrl's rise to power with them winning MITB, the Women's title and then the tag titles, and then their fall from grace after ousting Bayley, with them losing all the titles; Asuka going down for the rest of the year with an injury; and IYO's weekly meltdowns creating a rift between herself and the other remaining members.


This year's story could be about them dealing with this adversity and them trying to claw their way back to the "promised land" again.

But then it sets them up for the ultimate fall when the adversity hits this time it results in the complete implosion of the team for good.

One surprise I am predicting is Dakota and KAIRI are at Ryogoku for IYO's match with Utami..and they announce a tag tournament and Dakota and KAIRI are amongst if not the first team announced for it.

Nothing wrong with heel vs heel feuds in my book, it lets the crowds decide who to cheer for while the women just beat the hell out of each other for our viewing pleasure. It does seem now bar Bayley and Jade and Bianca, the face women are pretty much are only around to put over all the heels these days, mostly on NXT but Raw seems to be going for pushing only the heel female talents now to. The Party girls are jobbers, Lyra wont take off (excuse the pun!) until she goes heel and there is no other face left on Raw. Does seem Hunter and Shawn have a thing for heel women really.
