It is sad how much stock she put into this return based on IYO's place at the time only to replicate the same thing she did before and it will likely end the same way to only getting to actually do anything meaningful when she has one foot out the door.

It doesn't help when you have people quote tweeting her, claiming she's lazy, unsafe, and obviously doesn't want to be in WWE, so she doesn't deserve to be in the tournament either. Kairi has absolutely looked rough since her return, but at the same time, she obviously has zero reason to actually put forth effort considering the first thing WWE did with her is put her back into a tag team.

Kairi's booking has been baffling since her return.

IMO the reason KAIRI has looked rough at times...she hasn't looked bad all the time hell the few tag matches with the world eaters of Bianca and Jade she was basically the stand out and look at her right before she came back absoloutley was killing it in STARDOM. It is like you just said they have given her no reason to put forth that drive and effort she clearly had right before came back...and guaranteed once she leaves and heads to MariGold to finish out her career because I think that is coming very soon that she is gonna go right back to putting on the match quality she was before she came back and people will be asking...WHERE WAS THIS KAIRI IN WWE? and the anwser is....well if they had actually given her anything beyond sticking her in the exact place we would have.

Man, if Kairi's getting no shine right now, wait until Giulia gets here, lol.

I doubt KAIRI is worried at all hell it would not surprise me if with the working relationship she ends up just spending a good portion of the rest of her contract in MariGold which quite frankly would be much better for her because HHH clearly has no desire to do anything with her.

That makes me sad.
They brought her back for nothing. They could have taken literally anyone on their roster to fulfill the role Kairi has right now. Did they sign her to a lengthy contract just to have that moment where she hugs Asuka? I hope she's at least getting a crap ton of money.

I think the moment that got me was when they announced that Asuka was out of the Queen of the Ring tournament and it wasn’t even Kairi that ended up replacing her.

So I've read what might happen on Raw. And as a fan I would be disappointed too.
And this is the reason.
Why does WWE not see Kairi as a major singles superstar?
Ever since they brought her back, they gave her a tag title, but she comes off at times as the weakest link in the group. Which is completely stupid.
Does she simply need to get away from from Damage CTRL to do something.
Or better yet, maybe she goes down to NXT and feuds with Giulia when she shows up? I want them to heat her up as a threat, but for some reason Triple H doesn't see anything in her?

This is why July is gonna be very interesting for all the Japanese talents because that is when their big Japan tour happens , it is when Giulia will supposedly debut for NXT and reports are she is suppose to be built up even bigger than Asuka. And possibly we see IYO and or KAIRI work MariGold officially kicking off that working relationship. But sure as f*** unless something drastically changes she is absoloutley not signing a new deal once this current one is up I am absoloutley certain of it she is going to go to MariGold and people will be left baffled how WWE f***ed up so bad again with her.

With Becky and Lyra virtually the only babyfaces left on Raw (Ivy or Kayden and Kacey are hardly setting the world on fire),it would be the time to turn Kairi into the wonderful and loveable face she should have always been on the roster and it would give her the singles push she rightfully deserve. Imagine her feuding with Asuka, Iyo, Dakota, Liv, Zoey, Shayna, Sonya etc, she would have plenty of heels to have cracking matches and to actually show off her incredible talents.

Idk where this is headed but it cannot possibly get any worse for them in KAYFABE......right?
Maybe a babyface turn is coming
My one hope is this ties into MariGold in some way like IYO leaves for Japan to find herself in story....which leads to the dream match with Utami at the July 13th show and comes back maybe with the white belt from MariGold and goes on a tear similar to when she heald the STARDOM white belt.

Kairi, who has not won a singles match in like 5 years, losing is what finally makes IYO snap? Where was this fire when they were getting their buts kicked for like 3 years straight?

I would stop holding my breath on IYO getting the white belt in Japan. Fightful has been pretty adamant that IYO showing up in Marigold would be a ONE TIME ONLY deal. Like a one and done kinda thing.

Kairi's loss was predictable but disappointing. Kinda over this Lyra push. Or rather, I've been over it. There were more people talking about Iyo's backstage stuff compared to Lyra's stuff. The angle they are going for with this Lyra push is blatantly obvious (title match against Liv at Clash at the Castle), and I kinda hope it ends after Clash, so she can find her footing, because she's being completely eclipsed in terms of charisma and character work right now. Like Lyra was called up, yes. But of all the NXT callups to get the rocket strapped to them, it was her? And not Ilja, Carmelo, Kiana, or Blair? I guess Bron might count as well, but also not really since he's technically been called up for awhile.

What really sucks for us Joshi Island enjoyers is that Lyra was supposed to have beaten Asuka in her first match, then goes on to beat IYO, then goes on to beat Kairi. They finally get Damage CTRL away from Bianca only to have them all get beaten by a rookie.
Hopefully IYO's outburst sees her taking it out on Damage CTRL so we can put this group of losers out their misery and they can have matches with each other.
