I’m just saying not to gaslight me here and act like it won’t happen if they’re not booked as destroyers of all those problem babyfaces. I’ve seen it happen with all five of these women multiple times, as singles, as heels, as babyfaces, in tag teams with each other, in tag teams with others, in THIS stable.

Cool group but I fear they are going to be fed to Charlotte and Bianca regularly as there is literally no other faces bar shotzi left on smackdown. Kairi is such a natural face but man wwe loves her being a heel.
As excited as I am right now, I unfortunately, know this is what will happen. This new an improved Damage CTRL won't be booked any better than the old one.
Don't even need to look past last night:
Bianca no-sold the misting.
Charlotte was fighting back against 4 on 1 odds. 1 of the four being the current champion, the other two being legend-level former champs, and Kairi was there too!
Then, a freshly misted Bianca comes back and starts fighting back. She should be blind. The misting alone should have taken her out of the fight. Even if there was no mist, 4 on 1 should be a curb stomping massacre.
For the re-debut, this faction should have looked absolutely unstoppable. Instead, the presentation was, '4 of them are slightly stronger than 1 Bianca or 1 Charlotte'.
Even Hulk Hogan would sell non-match beat-downs! It made it that much more special when he Hulked up and overcame the monster heels. The absolute refusal to show any sign of weakness ever is what makes Bianca and Charlotte grind my gears so much.
Anyone watch "Pitch Meetings" on youtube? That's what I think of when Bianca is on. "I bet it's gonna be hard for Bianca to fight off 4 people...No, It's gonna be super easy barely an inconvenience".

I love how Bayley went from "I don't do *that*(hug) anymore" to having a big grin on her face when attacked by a 3 person hug. Then an hour later she excitedly joins in a hug with Iyo, Kairi & Asuka. I give it 6 weeks tops before we see wacky inflatable tube men. That line was the biggest tell for me that she’s going face again. If Sasha turns up to save her as well that would just be mental. I’m not banking on that but I’m thinking Bayley turns by the Rumble at the least. |

I kind of want Asuka to ditch the face paint. It looks awesome, but it's also been kind of a failure as a repackage of her. It lost all it's shine when it was obvious the repackage was only to give Bianca a credible opponent for last year's Mania. Fans wanted Murder-clown, but never really got it. I do like her "not wrestling a match" evil make-up. You get to see her face but just the heavy eyeliner as the accessory. Hopefully Damage CTRL Asuka evolves the look. It's so rare to see Asuka without the face paint that she looks really cool and unique without it. |

I don't think they're going to get "buried". They might lose more then some of us would like but this feels different imo.
Now I could definitely be wrong, but I think with Triple H fully in charge I wouldn't be shocked to see this stable pushed to the MOON! Probably not the Bloodline level, but Judgment Day level? Yes.
I mean everyone in the group Triple H booked and 4 of them were his Champion in NXT and Dakota has always been a favorite of his too. I mean look at the return she got after being fired.

Sasha returning would be perfect for this storyline. Bayley goes face, Sasha returns to form an alliance with her.
Could build to a big 6-person street fight type match at Mania with Sasha/Bayley/Dakota vs. Asuka/Kairi/Iyo. Women’s title could be Bianca vs. Charlotte.

I think they should win the big match at first just to establish them.
One of the mistakes they made with Damage CTRL last time was in just immediately gave Bianca start battering them. Or go back to Super-Cena burying the Nexus at Summerslam even.
You can have the faces start getting some big wins afterwards.
