So there is a pretty big rumor starting to make the rounds from SRS live stream ...now let me preface this by saying he did not outright SAY it or confirm anything but he damn sure f***ing hinted strongly at it by refering to past tweets he made. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}That Rossy's new promotion could be under the WWE umbrella.
This goes alongside the rumor that we could see Giulia in the crowd at Stand and Deliver. So take that first one with an extreme grain of salt right now. To add onto this, a small update: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Mai Sakurai and Utami are also in Philly right now with Rossy. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I would flip my ever loving shit , if IYO does to the rest of Damage Cntrl whatthey did to Bayley.
What I mean is that she goes behind their backs and brings in Utami and or Giulia to wreck Bayley at Mania and ensure her win because she deep down did not trust them to get the job done(tie it into them getting murked in 6 woman tag) , it would create not a break up but a great bit of tension they can build off of for months leading to Giulias official debut.
Of course the ultimate preference here is IYO should win clean of course.

I love that with everything else going on that right now majority are talking about Joshi's and the implications of what many assume could happen and if it infact does happen and just how monumental that is for the Joshi landscape let alone the WWE women.

So, Dakota & IYO had a very interesting media session this morning. First with AJ Styles & LA Knight's brawl and then not long after that with the earthquake.

news.yahoo.com/exclusive-wwes-bayley-felt-terrible-192500222.htmlMan uh...Bayley really doesn't seem to understand that people still see Damage CTRL as a flop, do they? I understand she's upset by the group being called a flop (by fans), but she should be blaming creative for that, not the fans. Because since Day 2 of the group, they've been portrayed as absolute losers who can't win when it matters the most. This is kinda why I feel like Iyo HAS to win at Mania, because otherwise while Bayley will likely come out of the Damage CTRL stuff fairly okay, Iyo will not. Bayley can afford a loss because she's already had many major moments/victories in her WWE career, while Iyo has arguably two at most. That's ignoring the fact that the rest of Damage CTRL is absolutely getting rolled by Jade, Bianca, and Naomi this week; to the point of where the match probably won't last more than 10 minutes at most. Uhhhhhh whatever lets you sleep at night, Bayley. But Damage CTRL are basically the League of Nations 2.0 in terms of actual credibility/overness.

The whole tension and breakup storyline has been heavily featured and has certainly made the entire group seem stronger and elevated.

I have said it and proof enough is in the show.
Dmg Cntrl's best period is when they got away from Bianca and basically being nothing but fodder her , they got to develop as a group , win titles have matches with actual other women in the division and actually look capable.
And loe and behold once Bianca re-enters the picture now with her muscle mountain twin they are back to getting battered by 1 single woman.

The whole tension and breakup storyline has been heavily featured and has certainly made the entire group seem stronger and elevated. Maybe if Bianca wasn't constantly around them. The problem was that they spent the better part of their time as a group just constantly getting clowned by a single woman, sometimes in 1 on 3 situations. I understand the need to make the faces look strong at the end of the day, but there was absolutely no point where Bianca ever looked in actual danger during her feuds with Damage CTRL. She would dominate 95% of the match, and whatever offense she did end up taking, she stopped selling the moment she regained control. The faction only existed to make Bianca look strong. Not build up Dakota and Iyo. I find it hard to believe either woman is going to break above the midcard once the group dissolves/Iyo loses the title. Especially since they are being primed to be ran over by Jade now as well. I cannot see Iyo, Dakota, or anyone else in Damage CTRL outside of maybe Asuka in the main title picture this time next year (or ever again tbh). And even then it would just be to put over whatever pet project WWE is pushing at the time. Bayley seems to be under the idea that this group made them into notable stars, when in reality, all it did was put them pretty deep into the hole. And it would take a ton of sustained strong booking to get Dakota and Iyo even remotely on the same level as the top stars. Something WWE won't do, especially with more women likely coming up soon. And yes, Iyo has a singles title match at Wrestlemania. But no one outside of her most diehard fans are under the belief that she's winning. And afterwards Iyo will either put Bayley over more times (until they are ready to give the title back to Bianca or put it on Jade or Tiffany), or fall down the card into the midcard women's purgatory.

I think you’re being too cynical on their place on the card. There are only 3 matches for women at Mania this year and Damage CTRL is featured in two of those matches. They’ve been all over Smackdown, including the main events and openings of shows for the better part of the year. They’ve already been featured prominently for a long time and so if some of them shuffle down to the midcard after the group breaks up (if it even does anytime soon), that’s not a mark against the actual run we’re in the midst of. But to pushback, I do think Iyo and Asuka will be in the title picture in the future. As to Sunday, if the match order leaked out is accurate I wouldn’t be shocked if Iyo wins.

Bayley has benefited the most form Damage CTRL, but it took two years of suck to get her there. IYO might benefit. I think IYO can survive a loss, ONLY if they do a face turn during or right after. Damage CTRL's biggest loser is Asuka. She's gone from popular to no reaction. Kairi came back and she's in the same status as when she left, only worse due to the completely dead women's tag division. Also now less relevant as she's just a body in a group of four instead of two. Dakota got rehired, so I guess it's a plus for her, but from a viewer perspective, she's not exactly setting the world on fire. She's about the lowest you can get while still regularly being on TV. Yeah, if the plan for Damage CTRL was to bring in IYO and Dakota and make them into new stars, it's a massive flop. If the plan was to make four new jobbers and elevate Bayley, then it's a minor success.

I think Damage Ctrl has definitely been a plus for Dakota. She's sorta been the dark horse as she really hadn't been given the opportunity to set the world on fire up until a month ago. Up until recently, Dakota was mainly a lackey who was just there; now she's getting a more prominent spot as the primary talker of the group & is able to show what she brings to the table. In some ways she comes off more like the leader than IYO, which you can take as a positive for Dakota or as a strike against IYO. Right now Dakota's got to be one of the favorites to win MITB, alongside Tiffany Stratton, so in that regard I think she's been faring well for herself.

And that has been an issue for IYO especially in this build and honestly is huge reason why IYO needs this win. Because this build has barely given her anything....everyone else in Dmg Cntrl has felt more important. And is a point further in favor of why IYO needs this win because who knows where a loss puts her because unlike Bayley who if she loses you know will remain in the top eschelon in title contention and you know she will hold the title again.

Does anyone think Iyo actually retains.
And this storyline with Bayley/Jade/Naomi/Bianca runs until War Games where there is a the blowoff finally.
DAMAGE CTRL vs. Bayley/Jade/Naomi/Bianca with those four finally ending Damage CTRL and we actually get a blowoff in the war games match?
Then IYO can drop it to Jade or Bianca at the Rumble and then you finally build Jade vs. Bianca at Wrestlemania 41?

Same hype video we been seeing incase anyone was wondering.
I never doubted IYO knows how big this is for her and gives me plenty of hope even regardless of the end result that IYO is going full blown STARDOM here and bringing out her entire arsenal , she is gonna leave a hell of an impression one way or another.

That would get into "stop, stop he's already dead!" Territory. Hell in a war games match where it was damage ctrl against just Bianca? I'd still bet on Bianca.
