So they have announced all the women for the Raw battle royale to determine the new champion...of course some of that changes with Xia Li gone. But tonight atleast to me cemented that IYO is getting drafted to Raw and I can see her being a shock entry into the battle royale so she kicks off a feud before she officially gets drafted. And also this is possible as KABUKI Warriors still hold the tag titles and can bounce between any show and could feasably show up on Raw and enter that battle royale. Iyo isn't in the battle royal, and I don't think she's going to be a shock entry. I unfortunately think she's going to be stuck on Smackdown still. Because it seems like her and Asuka are like the only women who can reliably drag something good out of a lot of the current SD Women's Division right now. Either Dmg Cntrl is going to Raw or Jade and Bianca are because I think even HHH has to have gotten absoloutley sick of Bianca and anything Bianca adjacent just doing nothing but feuding with Dmg Cntrl. One or the other has to give here IMO. |

They can always just draft the pride....that name is so bad to Raw and Bianca and Jade with the womens titles can just bounce brands so there is ways around it. Hell even if the profits win the titles they can still send them to Raw seeing as they have done away with the SD and Raw titling on all the titles instead of doing stupid bell swap crap etc. |

Of all the Joshi sadly I do not see KAIRI ever getting the chance at holding a main roster singles title.....can absoloutley see her holding that NA womens title down in NXT though. |

There's a very hard ceiling over Damage CTRL right now, and its infuriating. And I don't see it changing as long as they are on the same brand as Bianca, Jade, and arguably Bayley at this point. |

Did they bring her back and sign her to a contract just for that one moment to hug Asuka on the turn? Did they absolutely need her for their "brilliant" story of Bayley is turning face because the others are not native english speakers? Was that a long term plan!? Yuck if it was.
They clearly like her since she's like the only wrestler ever to get a goodbye package video when she left. On the other hand, they also seem to see absolutely no value in her as a singles performer, aside from jobber. Her role on the main roster last time was eat pins to protect Asuka. This time it's just be Asuka's tag partner. Which, as I said, they could have used anyone for that.
She came back to a bit of fanfare, but they instantly kneecapped her by having her lose her first and only singles match on a random Smackdown.
Maybe they thought Kabuki Warriors back would bring the tag division some life? Okay, I guess if that was the plan, there's something there, but boy did that backfire! The women's tag division is such vortex of indifference it actually dragged Asuka down. She used to get cheers, but now she comes out to crickets and tumbleweed.
Anyhow that's my long way of saying, for those of us wanting a Kairi Sane singles push... I don't think it is ever happening.

Totally agreed and I feel that Kairi really needs to be her lovely baby face self to ever stand a chance as a singles star as she is such a natural good person,her heel work is fun but she has done that on the main roster for years going back to her previous run, she is one the nicest and easily rootable people on the roster yet they won't give her any kind of face or singles push and it's been clear from day one she is the weak long in both damage control and the kabukis. The women's division needs an underdog and loveabe face and she is all of that. |

Interesting to note that Bayley vs Iyo was at the house show last night, and nothing Bayley could do put Iyo away. She only won via rollup.

The best part of this interview is KO crashing the interview, and then KO, Dakota and Iyo yelling at LA Knight and AJ Styles to take it elsewhere and stop crashing their interview.
