I imagine people are gonna cheer for Damage CTRL regardless of their alignment for this feud. Because the number of people who care about Shayna and Zoey is pretty much borderline non-existent, and as for Sonya, she's basically a career long jobber. I guess she's wrestled almost 500 matches in her career, but has won less than 100 of them. That is uh...really, really bad even for jobber status.

Now could WWE try and position Sonya, Shayna, and Zoey as the faces since they didn't attack Lyra or KC2? Possible, but it would likely backfire on them, because no one really cared about KC2 at the end of the day, and Lyra's reactions varied city by city. And then you have Shayna and Zoey who get complete apathy a lot of the time and don't have much in the way of an actual established fanbase. And then you have Sonya who like I mentioned above, is a turbo jobber credibility wise, so the audience really has no reason to be invested in anything she does.

I actually think Zoey and Shayna as faces could get over. Zoey especially is just awesome in-ring

Deville's career record isn't great. Like, at all. For female wrestlers with 50 or more scored matches on record in my project (2000-now), only Jillian Hall, Rosa Mendes and Aksana have worse win/loss percentages.

The funny thing here is that the caption/summary on the WWE channel YouTube video and the summary write up on WWE.com said that Shayna/Zoey/Sonya attacked Lyra and the KCs as well, but they only attacked Damage Ctrl, so I’m guessing they’re meant to be the Heels.
