*Googles* Holy shit. Pretty much exactly like that! Yeah, the levels and bosses are more generic rather than based on movies and it's a shooter, but scratches that arcade itch for such a premise.

I want to see a Capcom all star game done right.
There was the cancelled Capcom Fighting All Stars game then Capcom fighting evolution which was awful.
But if done right.. A fighting game with Characters from Street Fighter, Rival Schools, Final Fight, Darkstalkers, Megaman, Resident Evil etc etc would be awesome.

I know the point of this thread is more "What media properties do you want to see licensed?", but I'm gonna step away from that for a little.
I'd like to see an HD remake of Mad Stalker, to begin with. I'd let the team behind Phantom Breaker do the work on it, since they're a direct through-line from the original 90s Fill-In Café team.
And if Mad Stalker was being redone like that, of course its sister game Panzer Bandit would be a great candidate, too.
Now that Sega owns Technosoft's IPs, I'd love to see a new Nekketsu Oyako (not to be confused with the Kunio series), but they'd never cannibalize Streets of Rage like that.
A Dynamite Deka 3 (no, Asian Dynamites doesn't count) would be nice, too.
Also : Home Ports of Spikeout (the original, not Battle Street), Slashout, and Spiker's Battle.

A Transformers Beat Em Up would be sweet. GI Joe could work well too, but there aren't enough characters who are adept at physical combat. About that....
Anyway, my picks:
Simpsons: The arcade original was very based on S1 alone, so a new game that cover more of the overall history (that ain't the 2007 iphone game) is overdue.
Power Rangers: You'd think this would be easy, but Mega Battle managed to ****ed it up.

Some of those Sega/SNES era Power Rangers beat em ups are absolute bangers, though. Gimme more of that. Was Mega Battle the fighting game from a few years back?

I remember playing The Two Towers and Return of the King thinking, "Man, a 4 player arcade version of this would be baller"
So I'm going to stick with that.

No, the fighting game was Battle for the Grid and a legit good one. Mega Battle was a beat-em up tie-in for the 2017 film that stunk. Why would you even make the megazord battles QTEs?

To be honest every Power Rangers game I've played has botched the Zord sections. Even the SNES fighting game made specifically for Zord fights (and whose engine was recycled for Gundam Battle Assault) felt wrong.

Hell, that's perfectly in-line with the thread, too. Just Shredder's Revenge has had me in a very beat 'em up mood. I also bought and downloaded Scott Pilgrim after having remembered it fondly, and uh... it's not BAD, but after Shredder's Revenge, it feels comparatively ludicrously slow, not helped but levels being too long for their own good. I am sure I'd take to it if I gave it more time, but I need to play something else in between, this is too jarring.
