From all of the accounts we've heard it was Jungle Boy that fired the first shot. You are right that Punk should have just kept his hands to himself, that's ultimately what did him in. But, my god, it felt like one half of that locker room was so dead-set on f***ing throwing the guy out that it was just ridiculous. Eddie Kingston, Britt Baker, Ricky Starks, FTR, Brody King all defended the guy. Those are all big names. Jericho worked with Punk again. Like, at some point we have to look at the problems of the other side, the only others involved, which were Kenny and The Bucks. I dont know what the whole deal even was anymore towards the end. But after Brawl-Out, Tony Khan tried, but he should have stepped up to help his own company and rein these guys in. I want AEW to succeed and letting the inmates run the assylm, Punk included, utterly screwed himself over. But, my god, as a boss, Khan should have had the come together. My main point, if I had any, is that this hurts AEW. In sales, in merch and in star power and the only finger I can point to is The Elite members. You are pointing a finger at people without any proof they did anything wrong. One thing I am glad about is hopefully Punk has taken his toxic fans away from AEW. I will always argue that Hangman was a piece of shit for going into business for himself like he did in that “worker’s rights” promo. I genuinely believe the bitch fit punk threw at the presser never happens without that.

Just seen the reaction Seth had after the Wargames Match and no way was that a work, because what would be the point of it when the PPV ended? Why not save it to set up an angle on Raw the following night?
And if it's true that the top brass at WWE lied to his face about Punk coming back, I cannot blame him in the slightest for being so angry.

CM Punk has appeared on WWE tv for 15 seconds and we’re already trying to figure out what’s a work and what’s a shoot. And that’s one of the things that makes him tiresome now. “Goodnight HULKAMANIACS and jabronie marks without a life that don't know it a work when you work a work and work yourself into a shoot, marks." For real though, I honestly don’t know what’s a work and what’s a shoot right now with all this.

I wont be watching WWE. But, I hope everyone who does on this forum has a blast because as the wrestler, not the person, CM Punk is still awesome. He absolutely stank the joint out with his "Real Worlds Champion" run this year in AEW. Honestly, outside of the MJF stuff (and really, the match more than the feud as a whole), a lot of his return wasn’t great, in my opinion. That may well be down to personal tastes and all, of course.

I’m always surprised there are still people who think CM Punk is well respected in wrestling locker rooms.
This is terrible.
Triple H is out of his mind.

Cool Man Punk went from wearing women’s rights shirts to strolling back into the company of a sex pest. You have the respect the integrity. Very punk. Be a mad coincidence if this was the end of all his "trans lives matter" rhetoric Crazy, just a coinky-dink Punk's always been pretty steady about his personal beliefs regardless of where he works. The only real difference in WWE is that it was 100% on social media versus AEW where he wore some very political shirts on TV without any real blowback.
Like, as much as I don't like guy, I'll give him that.

WWE not wanting to negotiate a new contract with him meanwhile they've just given Punk a deal likely worth millions upon millions.
Not surprised hes pissed

Yes please in the name of all that's holy, I hope Punk's stans go to WWE now and leave AEW alone from their dumb Punk chants and throwing shade at The Elite.

If that Seth clip is a work it's very good acting on Seth's part, and he's uhhhhhhhhhhh. yeah. lol.
Also very good acting on Cole and Graves looking like they're diffusing a big situation. Which again, their acting skills are uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Edit: thinking about it more I'd lean work just because he was still out there and cameras were about, but given punk stuff over the last year it's entirely possible this was a big mad for real situation

Holy shit if Seth walks because of this I'm really not sure what to think of all this. It's either a hell of a work or Seth is being insanely unprofessional there. Gonna be interesting either way.

I'll be honest.
I'm not one who usually calls things "a work" but in this case given it's Seth, given we're going to get Seth/Punk due to Seth's comments about him over the years and given Seth said earlier this year he wishes they were on the same page yeah Seth is cooking this storyline.
And you don't really see stupid shit go off the rails in WWE We have seen Aries walk out of BFG after losing to Morrison and Punk with his bullshit but generally WWE does not do dumb shit like that at least not recently. You do something stupid you must be out the door ASAP like Gail Kim eliminating herself It would be a whole shit show if HHH really didn't tell people and Seth was ready to say f*** this job and throw hands The Aries thing was stupid. The Gail thing was legendary. Punk’s act is just exhausting

The amount of bluechecks in the replies to that Drew tweet going, "This is good, backstage heat makes things more real!" makes me want to put my fist through every device in arm's reach.

Yeah, that Seth shit is absolutely a work. If not, him angrily pacing around the ring like a pissed child is the funniest thing I’ve seen in wrestling. I also highly doubt he had no clue about Punk’s return.
