I have to ask, do you like anything in AEW? Yes. But there's no denying this company is ice cold right now and desperately needs to build stars, certainly in that women's division. Thankfully they've somewhat abandoned trying to out "sports entertainment" WWE, but they've still got work to do. I am more annoyed that the company felt like a company that was going to be a genuine alternative and it feels like hope of that is fading. To be fair and this is just me...it has never truly felt like a full blown alternative just at the time they were just better at doing what WWE wasn't doing at all. The only thing that really seperates the companies are AEW is just a bit more loose on language and alot more loose on blood and hardcore stuff outside of that they are two sides to the same coin IMO. |

double jay is a very creative chant lmao I remember these two having a match in ROH back in 2017. The crowd chanted "BOTH THESE JAYS!" for them. "DOUBLE JAY" is much cleverer, though. |

I'll admit I think they took a blow or 10 recently due to asshole being assholes, but they're definitely throwing a lot at the wall to see what sticks, and also running with everything that actually gets over. Yeah, I think AEW's doing fine for the hand they were dealt. They'll recover, it'll just take time to get stuff rolling again. |

By the way I know it's a thing to nitpick and I could just enjoy the show etc, but that pin was so bad. Skye was basically in a piledriver position. Just open your legs up a bit more to put her shoulders down for it. Yeah like ZERO part of Skye’s shoulders/back was on the mat. And the camera got a clear angle of it as well. |
