Honestly, I think he was the heart of that show, both in performance and holding the stories together.
I need to check out more of his other stuff because he was so damn good.

RIP.
I've only seen clips of Brooklyn 99, and sure he was fantastic in it. But I know him and love him from Homicide. It was very much an ensemble show, but he was vital to its success.
