You know, these websites that hype the s*** out of these movies in exchange for exclusive set-visits, interviews, and studio goodies.....I hope such a movie blows up so bad in their faces, they go back to being honest.
Seriously, the sucking of AICN to Bay and DREAMWORKS for the movie is annoying.

Good or bad, it isn't exactly useful and doesn't give a full impression of the movie. I'm still in "wait and see" mode.

I...will not being seeing this trite. I think you mean "tripe", but I agree. It's hard for me to be angry over anything I hear about this thing though. As soon as it was announced that it would be live action I lowered my expectations accordingly. I think we all knew it would be awful from day one so it just seems rather pointless to get worked up over it. After all, no matter how bad this movie is it can't destroy your memories of the cartoon.

If I don't hear some Stan Bush in the movie, I'll be pissed.

If I don't hear some Stan Bush in the movie, I'll be pissed. I think he wrote a song for the movie, but I'm not sure if it will be on the soundtrack at the moment. Better than simply hearing "No," though.

I dont see what the big deal is, yes it may suck, but it's not like he is erasing all previous Transformers film or doing a wwe and buying the whole back catalogue.

The fans still have their memories, and if they aren't already out on DVD, the original series and movie will almost certainly be released to correspond with the film. It still seems like a colossal waste of money though. I mean, where is the audience for this? Are the kids really into Transformers these days? I wouldn't be surprised if this thing bombs.

Ok i thought the rock and bad boys 2 were awsome. Who would you rather make transformers? peter jackosn? tarantino? Oh jeez, Peter Jackson. He could make 1 version for the theaters that will be released on DVD, and then a few months after that DVD release he bust out a new extended version. And after that, he'll make a DVD with both versions, and a brand spanking new documentary. And people complain about George Lucas, at least Star Wars has had 30 years. Fellowship of the Ring wasn't even released 10 years ago. Sorry I kind of went off-topic there. So Stan Bush did write a song for the movie, that's cool. Hopefully in addition to that, we'll hear "Dare" and "The Touch". You can't have a Transformers movie without "The Touch".

Ok i thought the rock and bad boys 2 were awsome. Who would you rather make transformers? peter jackosn? tarantino? Who is Peter Jackosn? Is he European or something? A Croatian? ;D Is he related to that big fat hairy hobbit who made millions? Yeah, I once thought THE ROCK was "awesome" too. Then again, explosions and orange-filter probably seems awesome to a 11 year old at the time. Now that I saw more action cinema thats awesome, the less and less regard I had for Bay. Now I see him as who he is: Hack Autuer. Besides, THE FONZ would not approve of it. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

One thing that will help the movie is the mass amount of advertising. Pirates' less than expected opening could have to do with the lack of advertising it's had. There are so many freaking tie-ins with TF that it's starting to get ridiculous. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png)

I would say that the movie's nearly 3 hour running time didn't help it. But its true. Maybe Disney figured that since DEAD MAN'S CHEST made a billion bucks last summer, and was super over-advertized they figured....why spend money on a movie that'll kill financially? Yeah, the TF tie-ins are annoying already...and we have what, 2 months to go? ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)
