The fact that Triple H was out there tonight trying to hype Monday makes me think Mone's either showing up tomorrow or even wackier, she's the new signing for TNA. I don't think this is some sort of misdirect where she shows up at the Rumble. That X post tonight felt like a calculated move to get buzz back on them.

This is my thought on the situation, really. Mercedes/Sasha would be worth a big paycheck in WWE in a vacuum, but if she came back right now, a lot of what would be on the table for her would be matches we've seen already. That isn't to say there'd be no value in that, or that it'd have to be the same, but there's only a limited number of fresh matchups for her there right now. In AEW, that number goes up quite a bit, where I think Willow is one of the only women currently there she's really wrestled before, right? I forget if Saraya was still active as Paige by the time Sasha was on the main stage. Dude, Banks was the opponent in the match where Paige hurt her neck and had to retire for five years. I think there was SOME crossover. Like you say, though, that was 5+ years ago, so yeah, point taken, I just forgot. Hell, though, that means you've got a ready-made match right there based on that.

If she goes to AEW, she needs to immediately be pushed to the top.
She’s not someone you have doing random midcard stuff for like 6 months or whatever.

That would make sense with the talk that the devil is someone "kind of sort of" signed to AEW if she was on some kind of handshake agreement to come in prior to this. Her unmasking as the devil would get a ginormous reaction too. IDK where you'd go with it from the reveal but she would definitely be one of the bigger names that could be under the mask.

I'm also watching All In from this past summer tonight, and kayfabe it'd make sense that she'd appear in the audience and then immediately after we see her in the crowd the devil stuff starts. I think where they'd go with it is as Mercedes wanting to be the biggest thing in AEW immeadiately and having to remove MJF to make a statement. It makes sense the more I think about it as, who would be fine making MJF lose the belt as part of their plan to target him without wanting the belt for themselves? It'd be someone who wouldn't be interested or able to challenge for that title. It's bigger than being champion.

It would be cool, but there would be no straightforward in-ring payoff to that (as in no one-on-one feud with MJF).

I don't think the devil will be a woman only because I imagine it will lead to whoever it is against Max in a big match.

I feel like I'm alone in being kind of, "Eh, whatever," on wherever she winds up. Nothing really against her as a performer, not going to be mad if she debuts in AEW or returns to WWE, but kind of feel like I've seen what I need to see of her and don't really see a scenario where I'd be excited for her to pop up in either company.

She will be a surprise entrant in the Rumble and probably win or start a long feud with whoever eliminates her (Kairi most likely) all these "talks with Punk came together suddenly" is Jackanory from HHH. Punk was signed (at least on a verbal deal) not long after All In IMO and Sasha is already back in the fold. HHH being Lucy with the football with SRS is maybe the two of them working together to ID the leakers. Punk, Drew, Shane & Carlito's returns were all unspoiled by wrestling standards they have their corporate security locked down.
If she is the devil then this post will age like milk in several hours so not too long to wait.

We know Warlow is one of the goons, so all we would need is the connection that Banks had him to be the mole getting them in, leading the muscle and being the *in* for her to infect AEW. When MJF goes for his revenge in this scenario, it's at Warlow and maybe along the way he assists someone in costing Mone the title.

Talks between Mercedes and the WWE fell apart after Triple H said he wasn't going to buy her that unicorn that pooped gold.

I genuinely think she's going to crawl back to Uncle Paul, but if she is showing up in AEW, I agree. She needs to be pushed to the moon ASAP. I'm sure you'll have the "THEY'RE PUSHING WWE'S STARS!" crowd, but f*** 'em. She's a big star that their awful women's division desperately needs. Hell, she's a bigger star than most of their roster, be it male or female. That's not something I'm saying to shit on AEW, it's just a fact. Personally, I don't think she shows up in AEW. I hope I'm wrong. Like I said, I think she shows up in WWE, but if she doesn't, I expect her to end up in TNA with Trinity.

Haven't been following this however after the hints that were dropped here and there, I don't believe this report 100%. Haven't read the whole thread, so I apologise if anyone has already mentioned thia. However, I think this is just a tactic of keeping her signing under wraps and alluding to her joining elsewhere has people thinking at Worlds End possibly. Leading to massive disappointment when she doesn't show up at AEW and making her WWE return more impactful.

Wasn't it heavily implied there was more to her leaving wwe than a simple creative disagreement?
Maybe she wants someone backstage gone, maybe clauses to escape if certain things do or don't happen. Maybe she wanted similar assurances in aew. I doubt it's purely down to money with her, although obviously it's a factor.
Tna have been ambitious in trying to sign big names and are more likely to meet other demands, I could see her going there.
There's also matches in Japan she wanted outside Stardom that she may want to do first, be able to do on the side or fly them into her new home promotion.

Mercedes has remained pretty quiet as to exactly why they left. Trinity (Naomi) however has said that the final straw was “how I was spoken to” or something to that affect. Which is telling imo.

Either she shows up tomorrow, or she's WWE bound. For Cody and for Punk there have been several "no talks" reports coming out after several "there have been talks" reports coming out. I think there's a chance she could make a singular appearance for TNA as a partner for Trinity in a one off, but with TK saying he plans on being competitive in the women's free agency, I think that was a big tell.

The reason I believe this is because WWE’s been leaking stuff to the media all year about the people they haven’t gotten to hamper expectations that they won’t show up or sign since it happened with The Elite, it happened with Ospreay, it happened with Jay White, it happened with what feels like every free agent not named Brian Pillman Jr who for some reason sources thought to let him know he’d been there for a gajillion years before his TV debut.
The fact nothing came out about Punk is an outlier on all of that considering they did get him and didn’t try and brag about it to SRS at the first opportunity.

I don't care where, but man, just do it.
AEW probably would be better. Contract will they won't they stuff is deeply boring, though.
