Side note - are we back at Attitude Era levels of programming quality without the 90s edginess? It looks like up and down the card, everyone has a meaningful and engaging storyline. I’ve had the same thought. Particularly last night when Alpha Academy showed up. I gaf about all those members. Hell, I like ivar and he’s the most awkward Viking alive.

It is in an upswing so maybe 97-98 but it aint in the ballpark of 2000. Gotta see how things playout once all these long ass title reigns finally come to an end.

Damien flipping from WHAT THE f*** ARE YOU DOING to Actually You're Good the minute he saw f***ing stacks of cash was incredible

I haven't really been watching but...it sounds like they're just ripping themselves off by repeating the "Sami tries to join the Bloodline" stuff?

I noticed the same thing. Guys that have been around for years without doing much, like Jinder and Tozawa and even R-Truth, have recently had featured matches and even storylines. All the lower card women have been put into tag teams. It definitely feels like they're trying to give some screen time to everyone on the roster, instead of making the entire show about the same few people every week. There are also interweaving storylines going on instead of every one on one feud existing in it's own little bubble. Drew is feuding with Cody, but also with Damien Priest, and he still wants to rematch Rollins, and he hates Jey Uso. Becky is feuding with Nia, and both of them have had a confrontation with Rhea Ripley.

"He don't deserve a cut, his name's not on the shirt." I love how everybody just dunks on JD. My favorite thing about this storyline is Damien Priest and R-Truth bonding over their mutual dislike of JD McDonagh.

I despise you, Damien Priest.

The way that match handled Judgment Day was so weird. Finn was tossed pretty early in like it was nothing, JD was a comedy beat, and Dominik was in there for the fourth longest and Priest was in there at the end but neither of them really did anything.

R-Truth trying to tag into the Rumble was fantastic.

They really got powered down after Survivor Series. Like, I get the act got overexposed, but they’re still some of your top, main event-adjacent heels. And as much as the R-Truth stuff is over and mixed things up, that hasn’t helped matters.

I despise you, Damien Priest. I mean, I get it. Truth cost him the match against McIntyre on Monday with his antics, and he was already not in the mood for the shenanigans. But yeah, he's still a jerk.

They fulfilled their purpose of being the heel stable on Raw for 2023, but with actual directions for the main Raw babyfaces, it's not hard to imagine Mania being the breaking point depending on the booking. Them losing the tag titles, Ripley losing her championship, and Priest cashing in/failing a cash in all happening on the same night is very much a possibility.

Priest not getting his cut of the Judgment Day merch this week after that. R Truth getting the hot tag was hilarious.

I did enjoy how Dom did the big desperate babyface lunging tag for it, as well.

They need to keep Truth forever and just have him teach newer recruits how to commit to a character. The double-take he gave Valhalla when he ran past her was golden. If even Truth is like “This woman is strange”, it just helps put over how left of center Valhalla and the Raiders are.

R-Truth was by far the MVP of the night with only Chelsea Green in the conversation with him.

How long has Truth been doing the "Five Moves of Doom" Cena tribute? It was fantastic during the Rumble.

Two thoughts:
- I wonder how much of Truth's creative is his own ideas? I'd be surprised if someone else writes much of it, if any at all. I feel like it has to be all him.
-The "childhood hero" Cena stuff should definitely result in a tag run for those two.

Cena being R Truth's childhood hero is one of the best running gags in wrestling. Can't wait until we hit it's pinnacle when R Truth is giving his Hall of Fame induction speech.
