The lack of support Ashley Massaro got becomes less of a mystery with each passing year.

They'll have him come out on Smackdown to a massive ovation. You know what? I bet this is a Jimmy Savile situation where he's created the weird personality cult around himself as deflection for when this eventually came out: "Yes, he raped and trafficked a woman working for him, but come on, he's the genius who created Wrestlemania!" And like Jimmy Savile, he basically hid behind a veil of...the truth. The lascivious old git character who put women on dog leads and got his arse out on TV was himself.

I'd love to think this will result in a mass clearing out of all the people involved and those who covered it up, but if anything comes of it, it's far more likely that Vince and Laurinaitis will be thrown to the wolves and they'll circle the wagons around everyone else. And of course, Vince and Laurinaitis deserve everything that's coming to them and more, but everyone involved should go.

Ace is gone, and Vince's head will role before the weekend. Beyond that, they'll close ranks. Claim all they knew was that there was a relationship, which they already accepted, but not these details and they find them deplorable and so on. I doubt we'll see any sort of mass firing or clean out - the two named people will go and the PR spin will start for everyone else. I sure as hell wouldn't bring Brock back Lucky then that WWE don't need to bring him back. Storyline wise Brock had a perfect ending shaking the hand of Cody after the match at Summerslam and riding off into the sunset. WWE have enough star power and while dude is a great performer when he's in the mood, the WM Card isn't poorer without him on it. I think we probably have seen the last of Beastie Boy in WWE.

So it looks like we may have to put Vince under the jail.

People may have know bits and pieces, but that doesnt meant they knew everything. But I suspect at the least Khan, HHHunter and Steph found out at least a chunk of these details, which is why they moved so quick to get him gone and why Steph walked out when he forced his way back in.

You’d think so but I’m not so sure yet if more doesn’t come out, based on the complaint. There may not be that public pressure to do so yet, though I could be wrong.

Oh the horror stories some of the Divas must have. I know it's already pretty notorious and pointed to as the low point in WWE's treatment of its female performers but man, oh man, does the "bark like a dog, Trish" angle feel even more reprehensible now. I can't even imagine what went on behind closed doors back then.

Unreal.
Anyone who doesn't believe the Rita Chatterton story at this point is delusional. You don't just start treating women as subservient sex objects when you're in your 70s. Lord knows how many people Vince has violated in large and small ways in the last 40 years. And Lord knows how much of it his own family knew about.
Linda threatened to ruin the guy who blew the whistle on the ringboy scandal. She protects the company first and foremost. But she knows this is Vince. She knows.

Well, not what I was expecting to read when I got home. And that’s probably the last I say, I want nothing to do with this conversation at all. I miss Batista and his basketball right now

I hope that Trish Stratus NEVER had to live off camera what she had to live on in 2001.

Yeh even if you wanna be ""kind"" and say this is the most extreme case, no doubt there was a ton of smaller cases. Vince is the person that wanted to honor Moolah, who knows how many dealings HE had with her?
