Wasn't Teagan someone that was supposed to be getting a title shot or something like that last year and they kept putting it off or am I misremembering?
Point I'll make is if booking doesn't give you a reason to care about someone, it's very hard to get the audience to care about someone. There are exceptions if people just have that much charisma, but not everybody can do it.

It doesn't help that she's teamed with Natalya. Like, I love Natalya as a person and she's a very solid hand in the ring but I absolutely do not care about anything she's doing and by association that goes for whoever she's teaming/feuding with

Some talent don’t click naturally with the crowd and need a little something extra in the way of gimmick or an interesting storyline to make the audience care. I’d say Tegan could use something, as could Candice and Indi. But I think the most important person they should invest time in developing a character for is Zoey, as she’s so good in-ring that she can become a top of the card talent, imo. Zoey's problems are two fold. The biggest problem is that she has absolutely no character, and she had this same problem in NXT. Great wrestler, but no real charisma. And the second one is significantly more superficial (not that I endorse it, but a lot of wrestling fans I've talked to have said its a problem so idk), but Zoey doesn't stand out, looks wise. She's 30, but looks like she's significantly older than that. It also doesn't help that Shayna is basically a black hole of charisma either. This is why I'm not a fan of the RAW Women's Division. Outside of Rhea (and even she's starting to lose shine considering they have literally no one on RAW who could be seen as a threat to her), and Becky, everyone else on RAW is either a jobber, or completely devoid of any personality. It doesn't help that the one act they are actively pushing on RAW that isn't Rhea are the KCs, who are great in ring performers, but absolutely suck at everything else.

Nia is neither a jobber, nor devoid of personality. She’s been a good addition since she’s been back (and much improved in the ring). Liv now is back too so there’s another solid addition to the division. Chelsea is over though maybe you consider her a jobber still- I think they’ll push her more this year. Piper too is not a jobber and has personality.

They literally wrestled Asuka and Kairi in the very match we're talking about how not over Natalya and Nox were in it. Huh. Then I have no idea. Are they not getting booked consistently enough? Stuff needs to be on week-by-week to actually get over if it's not over immediately, and it has to start somewhere. Do they have any gimmick to actually keep hold of meaningfully so that they can start to catch on? Is it instead that the green talents need pairing with over talent, rather than against them? Because like, Natalya's cool and all but she's never really... over The women's tag stuff is actually some of the more consistently booked stuff on the show this year, at least in terms of "There's always a match or two on the show". RAW 1/1: Baszler/Stark v Natalya/Nox RAW 1/8: Chance/Carter v Green/Niven RAW 1/15: LeRae/Hartwell v Green/Niven, Baszler/Stark v Natalya/Nox SD 1/19: Chance/Carter v Unholy Union RAW 1/22: Baszler/Stark v LeRae/Hartwell SD 1/26: Kabuki Warriors v Chance/Carter RAW 1/29: Baszler/Stark v Green/Niven, Kabuki Warriors v Natalya/Nox Of nine main roster TV shows to air this year, only two haven't had a match from the women's tag division on it. Zoey Stark has only had one less TV match so far this year (5) as Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch have had COMBINED (6), and that's including the Rumble.

Tegan Nox is Welsh. They should tap into that and give her an entrance theme from the greatest of Welshman of them all, Tom Jones! If the crowd doesn't react to "It's Not Unusual" then they have no soul. Or since she's in a team with Nattie, she can sing "What's new Pussycat" We know the fans love singing along to "whooo-oooohh--ohhhh" parts of songs.
Since she's slow, she needs to revamp her move-set. We all know Andre the Giant is one of the greatest of all time. He was slow too. Tegan's move-set should be choke, headbutt, oh no Tegan is tied up in the ropes!, corner butt slam , and scoop slam.

It’s kinda like the Carlito thread if you aren’t in the upper 1/3 of the roster good luck getting anything decent to work with.

I mean, she seems likable, puts in work, has had some bad luck... But maaaaaan she just feels so slow and uncoordinated. I wish people saw how good she was before her knees got destroyed. She was one of their fastest rising stars in NxT before bad luck. Yeah she was so good in Shimmer/Shine IMO.

What annoyed me last night was Chelsea actually getting a decent reaction and then they had Zoey squash her. That was so deflating.

What annoyed me last night was Chelsea actually getting a decent reaction and then they had Zoey squash her. That was so deflating. It seems pretty clear that Triple H is high on Zoey despite her being one of the most uninteresting women on RAW. Had the same problem in Black and Gold NXT. They kept giving her prominent roles despite her being uninteresting at best. It's pretty telling the only women people cared about last night were Rhea and Damage CTRL.
