None of this is on Cody but the way it looks in Kayfabe that dude looks like the Bitchiest Bitch to ever WOAH-OH... It makes him look bad but it doesn't make him look like the "biggest bitch" like people want, like let's be serious. This makes Cody look bad, makes Roman look bad. Shit, it's gonna make Solo look bad because you know they ain't gonna let Solo beat up Rock like he's beaten up every single person on the roster even John Cena. This is gonna make Jimmy look bad, this is gonna make Heyman look bad because he ain't gonna beat Rock in a promo.
We gotta look at this as more than Cody at this point. I know Cody's a joke to a lot of people but this here is bad for the landscape of the company because we were really in a place where we were relying on current stars and current talent.
Now all that's going out the window for a dude who was killing in 24 years ago.
It's shitty booking.

They could not have made Cody look more lame here. It’s not that he got attacked. He explained all the reasons why he should challenge Roman, then just walked away and let Rock step in to take that spot.
