It was a solid 7 until the Taven match, and for each minute of match, I'm deducting one point of score. The match was around twelve minutes, so it's a -5.

negative 5 for a 15 minute Matt Taven match.
In all seriousness. I gave an 8. Another very strong show. I think a few post match things went on a lil too long but otherwise a good show.
But also TK, buddy, no OG Kingdom in main events ever

AEW is on such a roll since the start of the year. And it continued tonight. This build to Revolution has been one of the best AEW PPV builds ever.

7-8 I think. No Jericho automatically gets it a good score, don't even care about the rest.

…….I enjoy Matt Taven.
*dodges tomatoes*
I’ll go 8 as well, it was a fun show and I absolutely love over the top heel EVP Matthew and Nicholas.

8.
Look, I haven’t enjoyed Matt Taven historically either. But I’m not going to bash the guy on a night when he threw his body like a human javelin.

I'll go with an 8. Pretty solid show. Main event was brutal in all the best ways and as much as I like to make fun of Matt Taven being boring, he was great in it.

Strong 8. Good opening hour but didn't kike the dq finish with Edge & Garcia. Really enjoyed Mox vs Dax.
2nd hour dipped a little and while I wasn't exactly pumped for the main event it over delivered. Taven table spot was wild. He worked his butt off

8 feels right, a great match to start and a great match to finish, everything in the middle decent to very good. Didn't love the DQ finish and I'm curious what match they're going with at Revolution for the TNT Title and how they're getting there. I get why they did the finish but it cut the legs off the match just as it was getting really good, plus I don't think a non finish should ever be followed up by a talking segment, but it's a minor complaint really. Bucks/Top Flight wasn't as good as last years match but I don't think you can really do that kind of match while building the Bucks up for one of the biggest matches of their careers, so that was fine. Didn't love Darby's post match promo, reminded me of he and Sammy getting a bit shooty during the 4 pillars stuff but I get what they're going for, leaning into what people perceive the Bucks to be like IRL. Toni was glorious as always, liked Deonna's response to the tattoo being short and to the point. Willow and Skye was very good, again can't call what they're planning to do with the TBS Title at Revolution but should be good regardless. And Ospreay/Takeshita is the match I wanted so I'm delighted with that.
As a side note, full credit to Matt Taven who looked great in the main event, people talked about the match like it would be a comedy goof fest but that wasn't the case at all, the dive over the ropes was absolute insanity. He's never going to be a top guy or anything but he's legit in the ring, all his offence looks great and he takes a sick bump, definitely made the most of the opportunity he was given last night.
