Along with Seth's, Rhea's, and Asuka's themes. At least personally I can completely buy that they're behind Seth and Rhea's themes because the former is an ungodly unfocused mess of random noises entirely carried by one pretty uninspired, generic part people just so happen to like to sing along with and the latter is awful. I agree on Seth's theme being a mish-mash of parts, but who doesn't love Rhea's "EAT SLEEP PEE" song?!

I see why Randy rejected whatever theme they tried to give him when he came back Huh? It was reported that Def Rebel made a new theme for him after he returned, but Randy didn't like it so they stuck with Voices.

Are we sure it’s Def Rebel? It’s very very similar to her TNA theme without the Josiah Williams stuff. I’m not sure this is on them.

Hey, I resemble that remark! I just know you and your firm buddies have a secret bar blues band who play dives on the weekend and one day I will find the footage and I will post it to the board I'm sorry I'll have you know "Never Passing This Bar" are gonna be big time. They might even have James Dolan's band open for them at one point.

Def Rebel is undefeated in creating anti-bangers as themes Seriously these guys are maybe the worst music producers I've ever heard for wrestling themes, at least CFO$ made catchy if shorty loop themes for wrestlers that were memorable. Def Rebels are either generic or they're only recognizable because of how much they suck in comparison to the themes they're replacing. It's madness that Def Rebel can create such consistently terrible music but also be the people behind Roman Reigns and IYO SKY's themes. Monkeys and typewriters. I am of the belief that every single human, regardless of rhythm, musicality or taste, has the ability to create at least one true classic song if they had access to the right tools. Some of those tools can't exist yet - we can't yet get tone deaf people to be able to hear what is good and bad, but one day I bet tech will. Or pair them up with the right producer So if your full time job is producing music to order, you have to *eventually* get one or two right

I feel like the whole point of Naomi's theme and entrance is something you can dance to, and this theme is not that. Almost sounds like something that would be made if she went heel and stopped the whole glow thing. It's not awful but this feels like a good college research paper that failed the assignment that was given.

Or pair them up with the right producer So if your full time job is producing music to order, you have to *eventually* get one or two right There's also matters of the kind of work they're doing that help explain this. There's amazing songwriters who can keep producing absolute gold, churning out catchy and well liked songs endlessly. Those are the most in-demand and most expensive songwriters. WWE's not going for those. What WWE seeks out from a group like Def Rebel are people who will meet deadlines, sometimes very short ones, and deliver something that doesn't sound totally objectionable. You don't become a music production company by writing nothing of value ever in your career, but you do become a reliable for-hire group by writing an occasional good song followed up by a general output of inoffensive nothing sound in the background. That's the nature of a lot of work-for-hire stuff. You put out something that is fine and which has undeniable effort but isn't your A game all the time every day, but sometimes inspiration washes over you or you have a great idea that brings the project into amazing focus. The non-lawyers at this company are there for a reason, but if they didn't have something good somewhere in there, they wouldn't have been hired.

If they were writing undeniable classics, they'd not need to work for WWE anyway

*Trinity and the WWE in negotiations*
WWE: Okay Trinity we'll let you keep the horrible bangs, but we're gonna give you a newer, shittier, theme song...

To elaborate on this... one of the reasons why Rob Liefeld consistently still gets work, despite not really understanding anatomy at all, is that he's quick and he used to be popular. being able to hit a deadline even with subpar work can take you far in life.

Came in expecting it to be trash judging the responses and nah, it's cool. I rock with it. I do like how they're trying to level up Naomi compared to what she was before. I appreciate it. The theme is a vibe.

The new Dunne/Bate team have a new theme. Though it was bad I guess I'll give it another listen. Tiffy has a new theme, too, which sucks because I really liked her old one.
