or hitting Okada with the funniest bit of offense ever all those years ago. This dude is throwing strikes like clickbait podcasters think Orange Cassidy wrestles a whole match (They've never watched him wrestle) lol

These dudes, whether it's Roman, Heyman or whoever, have managed to book a story so over that someone putting on a necklace for 5 seconds gets a bigger pop than most world title changes ever have. That reaction for Roman putting it on was insane. They could've easily blown their load and did most of them in his first week back but they've still got so many more huge pops in the chamber too. The first time Roman says acknowledge me as a face. Heyman's return. Jey/Jimmy/Sami eventually saving Roman from a beatdown. When the war games match is announced (please let Regal do it in a cameo). When Roman beats Solo and gets back the ula fala for good. The first Roman/Cody face/face promo or them teaming up. When Roman and Rock inevitably come to blows. I'm torn because I prefer Roman/Rock at next years Mania over Cody/Rock but with how strong Jacob's been made to be I'd also be down for that being Roman's Mania match. The other Bloodline dudes can get beat down no problem but they're making sure no one gets the better of Jacob. He kicked Roman's ass with one good leg. I’ve said before this entire storyline will go down as the greatest arc in wrestling history. The amount of stars it has created along with memorable segments/moments is remarkable. It just keeps getting better and the crowds if anything just get hotter for this stuff as the years (!) go on. Absolutely amazing stuff, IMO. Will be sad when this storyline officially ends, whenever that is, but appreciate it while it is here. Nah, greatest in history is a huge stretch It's had some of the best moments of the last 20 years in isolation But it's come with a shit ton of baggage that was not fun to sit through and if you were ever telling someone to experience it for the first time, it has Shippuden/One Piece levels of meaningless shitty filler, years worth, that would be a benefit to skip through lmfao I can appreciate parts of it, while also acknowledging (heh) that parts of it have been extremely shitty too. High point for me is still The Sami Arc, but this Face Roman push, for as dorky as New Bloodline feel right now, could lead to some good stuff. Like the Bloodline Wargames I want lol

Long may it continue ☝️

Have we Loa-cated Tanga yet.
When he returns, he should have a boxing gimmick, and he should be called The Tangaroo.

High point for me is still The Sami Arc, but this Face Roman push, for as dorky as New Bloodline feel right now, could lead to some good stuff. Like the Bloodline Wargames I want lol I don't think it's a stretch at all. Obviously from a subjective standpoint people can disagree on what they find entertaining, but this story over the last few years has hit on practically every level of objective success (business, attendance, crowd reactions, star making, etc), and it's actually gotten more popular as the years have gone on since the storyline first started with Vince in charge and better minds have taken over since. I mean, this story has lasted multiple years in an era where there is 5 hours of live TV a week and a PPV/PLE every month. If there wasn't meaningless filler in between then I'd be shocked. Even Hogan/Savage in 87-89 (which I used to consider the best story ever) had fluff in there to get from Point A to Point B, and that was when TV/PPVs were a lot different. This Bloodline story has created a whole bunch of stars and/or made existing ones more popular. Hell, Roman himself spent years as a babyface that fans despised, but had a 4 year title run as a heel with this story as a backdrop, and now is getting cheered like 98 Austin the moment he turned face again. That says a lot about his evolution but also the story itself. Sami went from a comedy low carder to someone fans wanted to win the world title within like 6 months. Jey is one of the most over acts in the company. The Cody story wouldn't have hit like it did without him beating Roman to end a 4 year streak, and so on. Now you got Roman as a face, The Rock hiding in the background, Jacob Fatu being presented as a killer, etc. It's been going on this long and still has so much more story to tell. Honestly, I don't think anything comes close to this given how long its lasted.

"The Bloodline saga delivered on a lot of great moments and created or enhanced several stars in the process" and "The Bloodline saga had a ton of filler and misery booking that made it a chore to sit through week to week a lot of the time" are not mutually exclusive statements.

Did Solo give up on and abandon Tonga Loa? He's given up on the gym, dude's getting bigger week by week. Rikishi's genes are kicking in.

A best of the Bloodline video condensing it into the 20 or so great story beats spread out over 5+ years would be really entertaining and paint the angle in a great light because there is some solid genuine gold in this. But between those 20 story beats are some of the most insanely dull misery booking filler I ever done did see, like that stretch in 2022 where literally nothing happened for 9 months other than Roman winning. Even just this summer, Roman's lost the belt and turned face again and still every Smackdown ends in the same Bloodline beatdown segment. Cody immediately feels less important and Solo gets more TV time and narrative importance despite losing like other faces in this angle, because Bloodline Drama is the main character, and anyone outside that orbit doesn't really matter. It's almost like it's designed for a Youtube compilation or retrospective saying how great it is versus actually watching this through the sludge parts week to week.
The crowd is going nuclear every time someone looks at someone else in this and it's making big money money business money though so I don't know shit ofc.
*Chiral is banned for bitching about the Bloodline for the literal trillionth time*

It had stretches of greatness. And then long stretches of tedious boredom as well. Its biggest flaw is that it really needs Roman to be there to truly be exciting. But he’s a borderline part-timer at this point so he’s not around a lot of the time.

Heck, even now, Roman’s not scheduled until the USA Network Smackdown premiere on Sept. 13 (though in this case, the month-long absence is understandable given the time needed to grieve Afa Anoa’i passing away.)

Dude lost his dad and his uncle in the span of like two months. I Don’t blame him in the slightest if he feels he needs some time away.

The son of Tama and the adopted son of Haku winning the tag titles feels like good karma for the Islanders never winning the belts in 1987 or 1988.

I wonder where The Rock is going to fit into all of this now.
Does he come back at first and deny and say he knows nothing about Bloodline 2.0.
Or does he immediately betray Roman and give him the Cody ass whooping on Raw style.
