Did I miss something? Why does it HAVE to be 5 vs. 5? The women's was four on four last year. They could have held off Sami joining until the day of the show.

I too don't understand why it has to be 5 vs 5. I'd much rather have Reed be Rollins on the show than Seth getting involved in the Bloodline angle.

As I said in the Survivor Series thread...
It's a pipe dream, but if they really want to start turning the wheels toward WrestleMania, then the two additional teammates should be Cody Rhodes with the OG Bloodline and The Rock with the New Bloodline.
That being said, I really don't like this whole search for a fifth member plot point. I was totally content with it being four-on-four - originals versus the new blood, but with the focus being on Sami Zayn and Jey Uso having a very tenuous relationship with Roman Reigns. The search for a fifth member now makes Sami and Jey into lackeys for Roman, doing his bidding to find him a fifth friend, and kind of emphasizes that they're back to being Roman Reigns' underlings even though Roman has yet to apologize to them.
This latest wrinkle - the OG Bloodline is back but they need to find another ally - is starting to add too many flavors to the pot.

"OK, Rollins said he'll never help Roman, so all we have to do is stay away and not antagonize him." (Cut to New Bloodline inexplicably blowing up Seth's wrestling academy)
New Bloodline should be proposing a 5 on 3 match. Roman/Jey/Jimmy get to have Sami on their team, but they also have to have Tonga Loa on their team.
