Ummm....for of all, that man is evil. Second of all, not sure how I feel about him sending explicit videos to a minor (of their mom) would be a civil suit. Seems like the DA should be seeking criminal charges since that seems very easy to verify happened, then Howard would be facing jail time as a sex offender.

I'm not sure if Florida has revenge porn laws or not, but this would be a textbook example of it. Sending it to her minor son is an extra layer of shitty about it.

Bad timing for the Patriots with Brady's Patriots HOF induction. I know they wanted it to be on 6/12 (6 Super Bowls/Brady's Jersey Number). But now it's up against the Celtics playing game 3 of the NBA Finals. Also a lot of the returning Patriots already returned for the Netflix roast a month ago so the novelty isn't there.

But now it's up against the Celtics playing game 3 of the NBA Finals. Also a lot of the returning Patriots already returned for the Netflix roast a month ago so the novelty isn't there. Considering my love for Tom Brady, I was astonished at how boring last night was. Maybe it played better in the stadium, because I've heard nothing but positive reviews from fans in attendance, but it was a brutal watch on my sofa. The PG-13 version of Bill Burr is never funny, the roundtable discussions waxing poetic about the glory days of the Patriots dynasty darn near put me to sleep, and the big announcement - that a statue was commissioned to be placed in front of the Patriots Hall of Fame - was undercut by the fact that they didn't even have the statue or a rendering of the statue last night. So we have to go through this whole rigamarole of harkening back to the halcyon days of the dynasty a fourth time (counting last year's halftime presentation, the Netflix roast, and last night) when they finally unveil the statue this fall. The only part of the three-hour program that actually caught my attention was Bill Belichick's remarks, showing, once again, that the man behind the podium at press conferences and the man the rest of the world sees are two very different people. Also, it's worth noting that Belichick got about a two-and-a-half minute standing ovation from the fans in attendance, which had to be Patriots' fans way of saying, "We're sorry for the way this franchise has treated you since you left."

Maybe they felt sorry for them because it's the Falcons.

From what Rapoport tweeted about it, it seems like the tampering they’re being punished for happened during the legal tampering period, which is just about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard (apparently teams can only talk with the agents during the tampering period, but not the players). In that case, it’d be ridiculous to dock them more.

Trevor Lawrence $275M with $200M guaranteed
Feels like an overpay for a guy still living off potential a bit. He needs to become the top 5 QB he was expected to be cause you can make a strong argument he is not even in the top 10 right now

The QB market is so F'd. Jags were boned no matter what, either overpay or move on. And even though Lawrence isn't top 10 hell you could probably argue he's not even top 15 atm you'd rather have the proven known quantity rather than taking a gamble on a new rook or hoping an established star becomes disgruntled and wants to play in Jacksonville.

Lawrence could still be their guy but he has to have a healthy year, basically he can't repeat what happened last season and they're hoping that's an outlier.

I think Lawrence has a bounceback season as long as he can stay healthy. He looked like the real deal in 2022.
But yeah, the Browns completely f***ed the QB market with Nasty Man. Any team looking to hold onto even an above average QB is either going to have to pay through the nose or move on.

We’re talking about a league where Geno Smith has a larger cap number than Peyton Manning ever did. BTW, if Brock Purdy plays much the same this season it will be a crime if he doesn’t blow that contract out of the water.
