I would release Miro and keep CJ Perry. Who, in their wildest dreams ever thought this would be an opinion someone could genuinely have? I was a huge Miro mark in WWE,but I don't think that opinion is wild to have. CJ is better at charecter work then 90% of people in the industry, she always delivered when you needed someone to sport entertain the audience.

CJ adds less than zero to anything she is involved with in my view and often actively detracts from things. Miro may have attitude problems and be, by all accounts, difficult to work with but his TNT Title run as the Redeemer was awesome. Obviously everyone has different opinions and tastes but to me it’s like comparing the Kansas City Chiefs to the Carolina Panthers.

To be serious for a moment, hopefully it was a case of people just growing a part and both are happy moving on.
I do kind of wonder how life is different for people that met in WWE and were basically together professionally and personally like they were. Like yeah there's many couples in wrestling, but most get to do their own things on tv Miro and CJ didn't. I wonder if getting out of WWE and for anearly 4 years not being attached at the hip all the time played a part in things.

It's a common thing to say she was only good as a fake Russian, she did find A good role. That and everything else has been all about Rusev, when she's Russian, when she's not, when she was with him, when she's not and its some weird thing about him. If they have her under contract for say, a couple of years, might as will give her a shot at doing something with someone else that doesn't revolve around him. Maybe without some kind of cuck angle dragging everything down, she might actually find someone she has chemistry.

been thinking about this and as much as I still think Miro probably is his own worst enemy when it comes to booking now, I sort of understand how he’d turn out like this ngl. was watching some old wwe YouTube videos and he was mega over several times as both a face and a heel but got f***ed over every time. either jobbed out or told BS like “rusev day is the fans mocking you, they don’t actually like it”.
he had a solid 3 or 4 chances at being one of the very top guys over there and each time they bungled it. of course he’d be picky as f*** with his booking now, even if it seems to be extreme and not a smart idea

Is Miro done in AEW now? Is he never going back again?

Just to break off from the Fleetwood Macposting: I do hope Tony doesn't fire CJ just because she's no longer married to the person who wanted her hired because that's kinda sleazy. I don't know if there's much place for her there, and right now she's gone through a horrible enough medical incicdent that I expect he'll keep her on the payroll for now to help out with that. Whether she's got room as an interviewer or maybe just doesn't want to be involved and they come to an amicable split, dropping her because the Miro stuff is a non-starter now seems kind of awful. Miro, on the other hand, can kinda just leave I can't even fathom how much worse he's gonna be abotu stuff when he's bringing divorce energy into his bookign demands. This is what happens when you're hired because of who you're married/related to. She wasn't hired on her own merit.

Is Miro done in AEW now? Is he never going back again? He is signed there for another two years, so unless they void the contract, no he's still gonna be there for awhile But idk in what capacity, at this point you have to wonder if the dude really even wants to wrestle like he did before, and if he does... what storylines he preferred to seemingly do...

She may be terrible at everything, but she could get a shot or 2 at something not dragged down by terrible angles revolving around her relationship.

I think his window might be closing in AEW, if it isn’t closed already. With all the world-class talents they have on their hands, is it worth the headache and limited return of investment of trying to book someone who only wants to use a small part of the wrestling playbook? Especially when you have newer guys and other power guys more willing to play ball, either by offering different ideas or being more open to the ideas of others.

The dude *is* talented but there are several guys who do what he does, only better. And to make matters worse for him is that it applies to WWE as well.

I'm still a fan of Miro but he's one of quite a long list of people that AEW has outgrown from its early days. He's also not really proving he's worth all the drama. Wardlow and Hobbs fill the powerhouse (no pun intended) role just as well

It's nothing against CJ personally because she seems nice, but talk about a signing no one needed.

I've found CJ quite charming in face roles before, especially during Rusev Day. She can absolutely add energy to a face act as a valet. Put her with, I dunno, Top Flight, or Bowens if he splits with Caster. She'll do fine.

It’s a pity, they seemed like an actually happy couple at one time. But it’s also ironic; they may be the first case where being off the road caused the schism in their marriage. Armchair analysis; he’s traditional, she’s modern. He wants to live in his home country, she wants to be in the states. He’s at a point where he is content with his life, she still has ambitions. Those are irreconcilable differences if ever there were.

Looks like CJ accompanied Swerve to Rolling Loud this past weekend. At least she's feeling good enough to travel now.

She may be terrible at everything, but she could get a shot or 2 at something not dragged down by terrible angles revolving around her relationship. Her acting is atrocious outside of that one role she's also not exactly an in ring talent. There was the one time when she was the most over, it was her first match in WWE... it was a tag... she was on the apron and the crowd were going crazy for her she gets the hot tag and almost immediately the crowd went dead silent because of how poorly she did.
